Having stayed here once before for a long weekend a few years ago, my girlfriend and I decided to come back this August for a full week. We are so glad we did as the experience was as good as we remembered, if not better on this occasion! Nadine is the perfect host - touching base with you each day to make sure everything is ok and helpfully offering advice and recommendations on the local area. The location is ideal for exploring the famous hilltop towns in the area - including Gordes, Rousillon and Bonnieux (all under 20 mins by car). The local town, Cabrieres d'Avignon, is delightful in its own right. Our room (Tranquillite) was tasteful, with quiet AC, and cleaned to a high standard daily. There is also a communal kitchen which is very useful should you want to store some provisions for lunch/dinner if you're not eating out everyday. The breakfasts, included in the tariff, are delicious (fresh croissants and bread from the local boulangerie in town), you can even pick fresh figs from the tree next to the outdoor breakfast table (!) and eggs were provided on request. The pool is a real selling point - crystal clear water in a lovely garden area overlooking stunning views of the nearby vineyards and the Luberon. Such a relaxing time here - already looking at returning for a third time next year!
