Went here on a chilly day in May. It is a lovely secluded place. There are lots of gnomes set in different settings. The kiddies get a questionnaire for the wild flower garden as well. A very nice place to visit.

Three adults, myself my husband and my Mum and our dog . We were staying in Bideford, we saw a leaflet in our holiday cottage. Mum has a collection of gnomes, so decided to visit . On arrival you pay your entry fee, then go and choose your coloured gnome hat .Lol , yes we joined in the fun and wore our hats . There was a sligh incline down and a little bridge , as Mum walks with a stick was a little wary, but had no problems whatsoever.
There were cute little arrangements of gnomes everywhere, even in the trees, so many different ones.We took lots of pics to show the Grandkids. Once we had walked around all the gnome arrangements we stopped for a cuppa, then before you go into the flower garden you pick up a quiz sheet. It asks questions about different plants ,trees etc that can all be seen in the garden and you have to count how many fairies you see dotted around. There was a group of young nursery school children all rushing around and getting very excited when they’d found the answer to the questions , they were having great fun. You take the quiz back and hand in your hats, the correct quizzes will entered into a draw . There are lots of little pixies gnomes and fairies , for you to buy ,all hand painted by the very sweet lady that runs the gnome reserve.
Definitely worth a visit, we had as much fun as the children lol xxxx

Took my 2.5 year old daughter and dog. It's just a few gnomes dotted about in nice surroundings. Daughter wasn't that impressed. Dog liked it. Left quite quickly.

A group of us were staying locally on holiday & the Gnome Reserve came up on a list of things to do so we thought why not as it looked like something a bit different. We were a family of 7 adults and 2 young children and we all had a great time. A lot of thought has gone into this place, the little scenes set up are really sweet, the men enjoyed spotting their football team gnomes. You also get to choose a coloured gnome hat for the walk which makes for some great pictures. The price is really reasonable and there was enough room for a double buggy. The lady who runs it is really lovely, she hand paints lots of little gnomes and pixies in the shop, we ended up buying a few souvenirs to remember our trip. This isn't somewhere you would spend a long time but for a bit of silly fun I would recommend!

We went to The Gnome Reserve on 6th April on our way home from a 2 night stay in Cornwall.
It was a lovely sweet little place with lots&lots of gnomes&pixies dotted around the woodland doing all sorts of different things!
When u get there u pay the entry fee which is under 4 quid each then go&choose yr own gnome hat to wear!
Once you've gone round all the gnomes u then go back to the house to pick up a quiz which u do as u walk through the gardens seeing how many fairys u can find among other things.if u get them all right you're then entered into the competition&will be notified if u are a winner!
It was a good couple of hrs out even though the weather wasn't brilliant.
The only downfall about it is actually finding it!it took us a good 2hrs&having to stop&ask 2 lots of people for directions as it's not very well sign posted.it is worth it though.we didn't stop for any food just bought drinks from the vending machine there.
Would recommend a visit!
