A lovely local beach in the centre of town. Has a tendency to get very crowded in high season. If you can brave the rocks to the right hand side, there are more secluded coves tucked away.

I particularly like horseshoe type bays as they are usually a bit sheltered. However, as others have pointed out, it gets a bit windy, here. But that is often good when the temperature is in the 30's in mid September!
Nice sand, clean, plenty of bars and restaurants all round it. Loo's and water fountains to get the sand off...
parking is close by, although the graffiti strewn walls leading to this lovely bay is a real eyesore. Not sure who is responsible, because the locals, in particular keep the beach area spotless. So full marks to them.

Sheltered and well managed sandy beach. You can hire pedalos and sun loungers if you wish, or just plonk yourself on the sand as we did. Very safe for swimming - extensive bathing area clearly designated and cordoned off with buoys and ropes. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby along the promenade and at the harbour. Great place to spend a few hours.

This is the second time to this beach - absolutely beautiful. The sand is the best in the area, the water very clear. It was a bit rocky on the one side (which was good for snorkelling) with just sand for the rest of it. Good facilities around - with restaurants and bars overlooking the beach. It has a lovely ambience.

Will definitely be back.

If you don’t mind a beach that is overlooked from 3 sides, then this is no bad place to try. If you’re looking for something more intimate and undiscovered, then this is not the place for you. There’s plenty of parking (down a graffiti flanked street) and the facilities on the beach look good.

The palms surrounding the beach give it a nice feel but when they’re in danger of being uprooted because the weather is verging on hurricane strength, then give the beach a wide berth!

Great beach for enjoying the sunshine, lots of restaurants and shops nearby. One of the bigger beaches in Cabo de Gata and wonderful for family trips.

It's not east to find, but once you do it will have been worth it. clean clear water, very shallow, plenty of parking, short walk to the beach.
