“Stunning!”
Reviewed 6 October 2016 for a stay in September 2016

A delicious home made cake & fresh bread were unexpected & a delightful welcome.

Parish Mill Cottage is beautifully decorated with plenty of space for a family with teenage children and all the amenities you could ask for. The grounds are lovely & the walk up the field behind the property provides a good sense of perspective in a stunning setting.
There are many activities locally with a visit to the Farmers Boy Inn providing a more than ample dinner!

We look forward to a return visit!

“Lovely cottage and a top holiday ”
Reviewed 19 August 2016 for a stay in August 2016

We are a family of five including three children aged 9, 8 and 5. The cottage and its surrounding grounds were just perfect for us. The cottage itself is beautifully decorated and is superbly maintained. The owners - Tracy and David- were always on hand to help and helped to make our stay even better.

We spent hours kicking a ball around the gardens, playing on the swings, exploring or just plain relaxing.

There is so much to do in the area.
We went cycling in the Forest of Dean, visited the Birds of Prey Centre, walking in Symonds Yat Rock and eves had a day trip
to Cardiff.

Our only regret is that we had to leave!

“Cosy cottage in a lovely setting”
Reviewed 13 June 2016 for a stay in June 2016

The cottage is decorated to a high standard throughout, with warm living spaces and modern bathrooms. There is also a lovely big garden which would be great for kids or pets, and a walk up the hill at the back of cottage gives fantastic views of the surrounding countryside. Whilst staying, we visited the small village of Symond's Yat and had a cruise down the river, and also soaked up the history at Goodrich Castle.
All in all it is a very quaint cottage in a beautiful part of the country, brilliant for a relaxing weekend escape.
