The booking was easy and personal, the checking in process was handled well and very helpfully. The reception staff were most helpful throughout and seemed to be well focused on the customers The rooms were very good and suited our needs with two pairs of inter-connecting rooms plus one double almost adjacent. All rooms had excellent views of the lake.
The buffet breakfasts were good with lots of choice. The dinners were also good (once we had got on to the correct pricing structure. The waiting staff were a bit random - we often had to ask for things several times (five for one coffee refill!). The pool was a bit small for the number of guests using it - and the hours children can use it are a bit limited. The hotel is massive - it was a good 5 minutes walk from our rooms to reception - and there were three blocks further on from us! We stayed over a weekend - so we were not affected by the conference issues. Sorry if our 6 grand-children disturbed anyone!

Room Tip: If you get a room in the 700's - bring your running shoes! We found that some rooms are bigger than others - perhaps go for a corner room with double aspect - they may be bigger.

From the moment we checked in and were dealt with personally to check out we were assured of great service

Yes it's corporate oriented and they had events on the weekend but that's what keeps the rates down for non corporate clients like us. The hotel made sure the corporate event didn't interfere with our stay or experience

Small things like the barman checking the non alcoholic cocktail was to my wife's taste, he didn't have to but did all the same.

Only one weak point get a better toaster for breakfast. Chewy toast is never good

Arrived at the hotel on Saturday AM and very much enjoyed the Spa facilities and the staff in the bar were also very friendly.

Didn't get to stay there sadly but very impressed with the Hotel facilities and the staff

Standard rooms, great views, excellent service, wifi a bit weak though. Fantastic breakfast and good brasserie. Room service is expensive, but the gym and spa were good. I'd stay again, but it's salesman city here!

Room Tip: Ask to be near reception

Perhaps we didn't choose the best time, but this modern hotel was packed with groups of business people talking earnestly (but mostly quietly) about their forthcoming seminars and meetings or sadly on their mobiles to families at home . This was quite entertaining but you felt you had gate-crashed some corporate function. Anyway apart from that this was a quiet, comfortable but generic hotel with large rather empty rooms set apparently in a beautiful aquatic setting but as we arrived in the dark and it was foggy in the morning we could only imagine.

Room Tip: Get rooms at the back of the hotel which looks on lakes (apparently-see above)
