We had a wonderful stay with Mr Keshab and his family at Mukti Maison for a week while visiting Kaziranga. What makes this homestay a perfect choice for all nature lovers/ travellers is:
1. Outstanding hospitality and care— over five days, Keshab Bhai and Jharnaji took care of us like a family. They cooked delicious homemade food for us, took care of us when one of us was unwell, celebrated our stories every day and helped us with all our information. They even taught us Bihu dance.
2. Location- it’s 2 mins drive from the central zone and not far from other zones. It has a small market nearby where you can find all necessities including medicines/ ATM etc. It’s 5-10 mins from Orchid park (a must-visit place in Kaziranga). We were fortunate to see Hornbills sitting in our window.
3. Room/property- Mukti Maison has newly built clean, spacious rooms with attached bathrooms and amenities. They have a rooftop dining hall where they serve food sometimes cooked on a traditional chulha
We will surely stay again with Keshab and Jharna at Mukti Maison. More
