Came here this morning with the kids, very nice clean cafe with lots of kids toys which our little ones enjoyed. We were happy with everything we ordered, the coffee was delicious and the food was really tasty - good portions and good value. We recommend this place. Thanks :)

According to an article in the local paper, Kofe Haus is a family run business and GoogleMaps locates it on the corner of Vaitele Street and Ififi Streets. I first set off walking to find it (apparently 12 minutes by foot) but 35 minutes later and hot and tired, no-one at the junction of those two streets had ever heard of it. I then drove around in a cab for quite some time with no better success. Finally, I found their number and called and got directions. (For visitors to Apia, tell your cab-driver that it is near Yazaki equipment supplier and Farmer Joe's supermarket in Vaitele village, not Vaitele Street!).

It was well worth the effort. The coffee shop is located in a peaceful area outside of the usual tourist spots. They serve a very fine, easy, smooth tasting coffee that apparently is grown in the Laloanea highland region of Upolu island. I had a slice of lemon cake - hand-baked, light as a feather and yummy! They also had more substantial dishes on the menu. If you're looking for a place for coffee, brunch or lunch, this little gem is well worth the drive.
