Our family of 3 adults and 3 children visited during the October half term. We were initially a bit apprehensive as although there were lots of photos there were no previous guest reviews.
We shouldn't of worried. Throughout the process the communication with the agent was consistent and on the day of arrival everything went smoothly.
We were expecting to have to pay a 300 euro deposit but at no point were we asked for it. Electric was very reasonable at €0.25 /kWh. All that was required was a photo of the meter at the start and end of the rental. Our total for 7 days was only €13 although due to the time of year we hadn't needed the A/C on.
The accommodation was incredible, all the rooms were perfectly sized for our needs with inside communal areas more than spacious enough for us all to eat together or relax.
The kitchen had every item we could possibly need along with basics to get you going if you hadn't had time to shop.
There was also a nice bowl of fruit, a big bag of breadstick like biscuits and few bottles of lager and plenty of coffee pods for the machine.
And saving the best until last ... the outside area ! The pool was a perfect size at 10m x 5m. 3 steps took it down to just above adult waist height through to the deep end at a shade below 6ft. The water to be honest felt freezing, i think partly due to the difference between the air temp which at the time was averaging 25°. Once in you became used to it as long as you kept moving. It didn't put us off and in fact we spent 1 morning at the very warm watered beach a 2 minute walk away then all came back to spend the rest of the day in the pool. Beach towels were provided as well as bath towels.
There's a very large table that seats 10 outside under a covered area and also 10 sunbeds around the pool. A 2 seater sofa at the front of the villa to enjoy sunsets and another under the covered area. Mosquitos were quite a big problem for us so we didn't stay out much after dark but mosquito deterents were provided but didn't stop us getting eaten by them.
There was a large bbq outside which we used everyday and a small amount of coal and fire lighters were thoughtfully provided to get us started.
On our last evening Miguel the owner came to collect the money for the electric and i assume to look over the Villa. He collected the money but although invited to look around refused. He was a very pleasant and friendly man and my wife spoke to his daughter on the phone as he speaks no English and us no spanish.
We absolutely would love to visit the area again and would not hesitate to book Villa Bonnin again.
Thankyou everyone for a very enjoyable stress free week.
