“The perfect getaway....”
Reviewed 19 July 2015 for a stay in July 2015

A beautiful, spacious comfortable cottage in a peaceful setting....the only noise is birds! A well equipped kitchen if you prefer self catering, two large supermarkets just outside Barnstaple and the market on a Friday in Barnstaple is well worth a visit for plenty of local fresh produce. Plenty of space upstairs and a large bathroom too...all clean, tidy and well maintained.
A great location to stay with many places within easy reach, Ilfracombe, Woolacombe and Croyde and fantastic coastal walks, would recommend Valley of the Rocks and Morte Point.
We had a great holiday and will certainly return...and the best lemon drizzle cake and a bottle of wine on arrival a lovely thoughtful touch...Perfect.

“Cute and cosy cottage- perfect getaway!”
Reviewed 3 January 2015 for a stay in December 2014

Peaceful cottage which was well maintained. There was plenty of space for us including a dog. The place was well equipped with appliances and wifi. The wood burning fire was great!
The only down side was the road leading to the cottage- very bumpy- not suitable for some cars and those who get travel sick. Otherwise we had a great stay and would love to go back in the summer time to explore surrounding area as too cold and wet to do so in the winter.

“A lovely retreat”
Reviewed 1 October 2014 for a stay in September 2014

We had a great time, bit of a bumpy ride on the road up to the cottage, but it was worth it. Fascinating old cottage, where a friendly welcome awaited us with cake, wine and lovely fresh eggs.
The animals are really tame, such a peaceful place to stay and the cottage was very well equipped. We will go back to stay again.

“Lovely time”
Reviewed 9 September 2014 for a stay in September 2014

A lovely well appointed cottage. The garden was pleasant and spacious with a nice BBQ which we cooked some freshly caught trout on.
The Kitchen was perfect for a small family and the hosts very kindly had a cake waiting for us upon arrival.
A great experience. Although a bit of fun trying to find it as we were arriving quite late. But some friendly neighbours pointed us in the right direction.
Definitely a repeat visit for us.
