This property is quite exceptional. Both the apartment and the villa are furnished to a wonderful standard. The owners, Wendy and John cannot do enough for you and you really will want for nothing.
The house is set in the most amazing surroundings. Every morning I woke and was amazed by the view and the sound of birdsong. The village of Arles Sur Tech is a very short walk away, and there are some lovely bars and restaurants. We did a day trip to Spain too,but there is plenty to see nearby. Highly recommended.
There really isn't anything I could fault, it seemed the hosts had thought of most things, and if we did have any questions they were on hand and more than happy to help us. The house itself was a pleasure to stay in, and the location was great. We all really enjoyed our stay here, and agreed that we would return.
We had such an amazing time at this beautiful place last year we went again - this time for two weeks. One we enjoyed with family and young grandchildren the second with friends...and let's say none of us wanted our heavenly break to end.
It was as we left and remembered it though owners John and Wendy had been hard at work over the past 12 months adding, for example, a gorgeous new bathroom on the first level and adding niceties. Everything was just perfect, from the five bedroom house, which lacks nothing, to the magnificent view you get when the shutters are pulled back in the morning. It's sheer bliss yet just a 20 minute walk to a number of shops and restaurants in Arles Sur Tech. The two pools were well used - even on the odd overcast day it was still very warm. We enjoyed using the bbq, watched the Euros on the big screen, and were pleased our top class hosts were able to join us for a drink and bbq. They are full of ideas and suggestions, nothing too much trouble. We mixed and match our time including heading to Spain for a day trip -75 mins to the lovely beach at Roses - and at the other end of the scale drove up nearby mount Canigou. Scary. Other days we chilled amidst the beautiful scenery and revelled in the tranquility. We saw deer, heard wild boar scuffling in the undergrowth and the donkeys were, briefly, back in their field. The harmless occasional geckos had their fun popping in and out of the stone walls, specially at night as we sat outside in the evening warmth and admired the stunning views across the valley. It was sheer bliss and we lacked for nothing. The 2 and 4 year olds were forever in the pool and the adults weren't far behind as the sun beate down. The area is simply magnificent and large Casasola villa was just perfect for us all. Again the only downside was we had to go home. Our thanks to John and Wendy for making our days, they will lomg live in our memory.

I stayed at Casa Sola with a group of friends in October. The stunning location was perfect for a relaxing break. We also visited into the nearby towns which were very pretty. The accommodation had everything we needed and more, I loved the wood-burning fire. I cannot fault Casa Sola!
Just come back from a great week’s holiday at the Casa Sola. We will definitely return to this property situated in the glorious Tech valley, an area, previously unknown to us, of beautiful wooded hills and towering peaks.
We thought the house was spacious and extremely well equipped with modern appliances and comfy furniture and bedding.
Even in late September we were blessed with long days of crystal clear light and unbroken hot sunshine – making it possible for us to make use of the outdoor pools each day. The house made a good base from which to visit Ceret, Collioure on the Mediterranean coast, the Northern Spanish resorts as well as (by means of the local bus heavily subsidised to a fare of just €1 each way!) the Departmental capital, Perpignan. For those who love motoring, the deserted roads through the mountains to Spain are an exhilarating must, combining spectacular scenery, twists and turns and excellent, well maintained surfaces.
We combined self-catering in the well equipped kitchen with eating out in the local restaurants which we found served high quality food at reasonable prices.
