We stayed here for 10 days and enjoyed our stay, we had a Scoopon deal which was very good value.
Great location in Karon across the road from the beach but set back so nice and quiet.
The ladies working there are very helpful and friendly but we found the guys that clear the tables at the breakfast buffet rude. The food and plates at breakfast are not replenished fast enough so lots of standing around waiting.
The rooms are nice but the bathrooms are in need of a renovation as are a lot of the common areas.

This is a good hotel to say at if you are happy with the basics. It's good value for money but showing signs of age. The staff are very good and can't do enough for you. When we arrived check in was a little slow and there was only seven of us. When we entered our room 421, top floor, it was like an oven. We contacted reception & they sent an engineer to look at the aircon. He adjusted it and said he would return in half hour. After 45 minutes I contacted reception again as he had not been back. They sent someone to move our cases to another room 315 and said we could stay just one night as our aircon would be fixed by morning. However the following morning reception rang to say we could stay in room 315 for the duration of our stay. This was excellent news as it was a very large L shaped lounge area with 2 kingsize beds a walk in closet and lovely big bath room. We were very grateful for this. The breakfast at the hotel is average but my advice is go early rather than later as replenishing is a little slow. Because of the structure of the building, there is no aircon in reception area or restaurant area. I noticed birds flying in and landing on the tables. They do keep the buffet covered though. It's only if you leave your table to get something else you may come back to find you have a little visitor on the table. There are two hotel pools. Be very careful entering them as there's only one lot of steps with railings and I did see people slipping and sliding there who used the other steps without railings. The stairs out of the hotel are all marble and very dangerous whilst wet. They do put a towel over the mat at the top and bottom of the stairs which helps but could be a tripping hazard so watch out. All in all we had a good stay with plenty of places to eat, and shop with EATBARANDGRILL being our favourite on the Patak Road about 15 mins walk from the hotel. Plus there's a nice beach opposite. The best beach is the Kata beach which is a 20 min walk from hotel. The seas calmer there. If you want to go to Phuket town it's around £10 in a taxi one way. Taxis are not cheap & tuktuks in Phuket are converted vans so best go in taxi! We went in January and it was 34° & thats their winter! Happy holiday folks.

We really enjoyed our stay at this establishment. It was booked last minute and we were here over the New Year period. We got upgraded to a bigger room but the staff here are very friendly. The young lady and the front house manager were great to deal with, they even took a picture with us as we left. The Breakfast was decent and the location was superb. Right accross the beach and plenty of shops around. Karon beach is very different to Patong beach as it caters more for families.
