We had a wonderful experience at Rochers. Bridgette was very helpful and welcoming. The Grand Kaz was roomy and extremely comfortable and well appointed. The deck was lovely - sunsets to admire every night! Highly recommend.

If you want to avoid the crowded beaches and resorts of Grande-Terre, the cottages at Rochers Caraibes are the perfect location for exploring the beauty of Basse-Terre. We stayed in Kaz a Man Tiren for a week and wish it could have been much longer, there was so much more to see. The cottage is charming, recently decorated and very well appointed. We enjoyed the beautiful sunset views from the open air living /dining area, and the hot tub after a day of hiking in the national park. As others have mentioned, we also chose Rochers Caraibes in part because of the great reviews, and even so we were delighted to find it was even more beautiful than the photos. I was expecting a somewhat "rustic" accomodation, but this does not describe these beautiful cottages. Very comfortable bed, lots of new kitchen appliances including a clothes washer, coffee and espresso makers. We do not speak or understand more than a few words of French, but Brigitte was wonderful and very helpful with great recommendations.

We had 10 amazing days at the ti kaz! The house was even more beautiful than the pictures, it was very clean, nicely decorated and it smelled amazing! Brigitte welcomed us very warmly and the house was provided with everything we needed. The house has an amazing position with sea view and beautiful flowers. Hummingbirds were posing for great pictures. Because of the position you can also easily access everything you want by rental car. And of course the Jacuzzi and the hamac are amazing. Certain 5/5 points for the ti kaz and I can recommend it to anyone!!

We stayed in Gran Kaz for one week with two children (8 and 11). Our extremely accomodating and professional host, Brigitte, gave excellent suggestions for excursions (snorkelling, canyoning and a boat excursion in the northern part of Basse Terre) which ended up being the highlights of our trip.
The villa itself is beautifully decorated and very comfortable and Pointe Noire is perfectly located for exploring the island (just next to the reserve Cousteau and the Mamelles national park). The children didn't want to leave, which says it all.
Highly recommended!

Our family of 4 (couple and two grown kids) stayed for a week at the Gran Kaz. We chose the Rochers Caraibes because of all the positive and detailed recommendation on TripAdvisor, and it worked out beautifully. The accommodations were perfect, with a beautiful deck with spectacular views of the ocean and sunset, a small above ground pool which we enjoyed, and three colorfully decorated and freshly maintained rooms (not easy in tropical climate) each with their own bathroom. Brigette, the owner who lives in a villa on the property, was friendly and helpful — a delight! The location was perfect for our time exploring Guadeloupe, with a focus on the Basse Terre part of the island. We mixed days of driving south to the volcano, a rain forest trek (highly recommended and a day in the islands of Les Saintes, with days on the beautiful beaches of Deshaies. A lot of driving on the spectacular coastal roads with switchbacks in a stick shift. We also drove over to Grande-Terre for a day which was highlighted by spectacular landscape and views at Pointe des Chateaux. Highly recommended! (Note: everyone is super friendly, but having some French language skills is helpful.) We hope to return to Guadeloupe and the Rochers Caraibes!

Room Tip: Gran Kaz is the largest of the three villas.
