Our tour group stayed here on our trip to the eastern part of Bhutan. It was a delLight full surprise, reminding me of Andeam mountain lodges at their best. The sound of the river right next to our cabin made it very easy to sleep well. Dinner buffet was tasty, as was breakfast. Wifi was weak, but what would one expect here? The setting was beautiful, the beds comfortable, the bathrooms modern.

We stayed two nights and at the end of it, wished if we could stay for a couple more. River flows in all its glory, just by the side of the cottage, which is clean and comfortable. Service and food quality were good.

Our tour group stayed her one night. We had Room 23 - ground floor on the end of the building with the river just out side our back door. Yes the room was small but for us, much more importantly, the room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The room had a TV but we never turned it on or felt a need to use it. Buffet dinner and breakfast were included. We found the selection as well as the quality of the food to be very good. I hope that when we return to Bhutan this coming Spring that we stay a night there once again.

It was a great experience. Regret to have it only for one night...the peace coming through sound of river flowing next to cottage..very clean environment. Everything is so well designed to absorb you for days without any boredom.

Room tip: River view..ground floor

Location was a bit far from the main attractions in Punakha. But we were very happy once we reached the hotel since its was very close to the river kichu, premises were beautiful and rooms were clean. Food was good. They even offered us a complimentary dessert.

As an artist, the view at the river was great for landscape painting.

The only con was that the lighting in the rooms were dim and rooms were small.

the overall stay was extremely pleasant. I will definitely come again next time.
