if you are looking for a quiet place to visit this the is the ideal place to go to. their poutine is so good and hearty and their clam chowder is to die for. now the only time to go is during august this is the only time the hotel is open for tourist if i am not mistaken. if you love fishing then this is the right spot to fish. if you like the beach than you should visit but i have to say the water was cold since we were in the northern part of the coast. their are ice rings and their is this place that sells and makes soap on property.

I only wanted to grab a bite of local culture food; I didn't have time for the whole attraction experience. They led me in past the pay ticket area and took me to the restaurant, so that's a nice thing that you can eat there without paying the attraction fee. And it was nice that you could hear the attraction's music playing off in the distance.
The view from their second floor outside seating deck is great, they've got a very good variety of seating (shady, sunny, partial, etc). I had a seafood pasta that was amazing, and the craft beer choice was very good. Overall, great food, great service.

We were with a tour group and received the royal treatment. We started with a buffet which was very good and with great variety. We had a guide that gave us a good idea of the Acadian history. A fiddler played music and we had a sing along. We toured the village which is a reproduction but it was fun to talk with the staff who were in costume and answered our questions. In the afternoon a local band played music and we danced and laughed.

I went to Le Pays de la Sangouine with my brother and sister-in-law who live nearby. What a lovely place to go! The actors and actresses were great fun and full of knowledge about the place, the people who used to live in the area and the history. I learnt so much whilst I was there.

We had a wonderful afternoon exploring Acadian culture and music with our grandchildren. Loved the performance done by the band. It really added to the atmosphere.
