Having read many of the previous reviews it is difficult to disagree - the place is a bit tired, and resembles Butlins accommodation of the sixties. Actually the internal courtyard and steps up to the first floor rooms are quite quaint and make a change from the usual "shoebox" design.
The room was, yes, smaller than average, but perfectly adequate. The place is ideally situated for the tram into Nottingham for me to watch the cricket and Mrs B to have some retail therapy. A blissful uninterrupted night's sleep for just over £30. What's not to like?
