The sand looked dirty with lots of broken shells and sharp stones underfoot, very uncomfortable at times. It is what it is, a beach, what do you expect, enjoyable never the less. Holidays are for getting out and about. Go on, get your feet wet and sandy. Enjoy.

Fantastic beach, plenty of sun beds at reasonable costs. Plenty of Tavernas on the beach. Showers and a wooden walkway to avoid the hot sand!

The southern end of the beach next to the Mayor Verde hotel is currently under a pile of seaweed thanks to cruel Mother Nature. However the rest of the beach is lovely with beds and an umbrella only 8 euros for the day . Plenty of tavernas to choose from and you can walk the whole beach round to the shipwreck where the water is crystal clear. The sea gets deep only about 10 metres out as the beach shelves dramatically.

We don't spend much time on the beach on holiday - husband is incapable of sitting still for more that 10 minutes! However we have visited Agios Gordios three times now in the past three years.

The beach is sandy and there is very little tide so the sea doesn't move much. There are plenty of sun beds which are free to use but belong to the restaurant behind them so you are expected to buy drinks/snacks from the relevant establishment - perfectly fair. The drinks etc are brought to you by the waiting staff so you don't even need to put your book down! I don't know how busy/noisy it is in the height of the season, but I don't imagine it is unpleasant even then!

The beach is clean and beautiful, also offers a beautiful view. The sand is fine and the watter is clear. It’s a beach where you can go and relax!
