We are a family of four- 2 adults and 2 kids. It was an amazing place with a lovely view. Breathtaking view from our suite. It had a small chapel. One just have to rent a car and drive everywhere in the island. Both the receptionist that dealt with us were good and knew what they were talking about. The only slack point- there was no kettle to make hot drinks. I am a morning person and would like to make my own coffee. Unfortunately, the hotel did not have this service. Overall, it was just splendid! It made our short stay memorable

We thought this hotel was closer to Fira but it's not. If you're going to stay here you MUST rent a car as there is nothing near by. No restaurants, bakery nothing.
The suite is large and spacious but needs a lot of work. The view is spectacular with a small balcony which overlooks the pool. It was cold when we were there so we didn't get to enjoy the pool deck but it's very nice.
The bathroom is old, the plumbing is terrible (our toilet barely flushed, the shower head needed replacement as the water sprinkled out and there was no pressure. The water goes from cold to hot. You feel like you're in a cave in this bathroom. The linens are old and discoloured. The pillows are firm. The towels need to be replaced desperately. I didn't feel clean after using them. Ugh.
Housekeeping is okay and because the bathroom is old and needs renovation I wasn't sure if our bathroom ever got cleaned.
The SPA was disappointing as the pool was not warm enough. The showers in the SPA are also terrible due to the plumbing issues. There is a charge to use the SPA area but this should be complimentary. It's unique though as it too is in a cave. I'm sure the SPA services are very good. Friendly staff and very helpful. They are there at your service.
The breakfast is included which consists of meats, eggs, breads, pastries, juices and the coffee is made from a machine. The service there is excellent, the view is beautiful and there is no need to go elsewhere for breakfast, there is enough selection here.
As this hotel is 20-25 minute drive by car to Oia it's necessary to rent a vehicle as I'm sure the taxi is expensive. Fira is 10 min away and a nice town to visit. The Port is 10 min away on a very curvy road and is a 15 Euro taxi ride. If you arrange ahead of time the hotel shuttle will pick you up. They dropped us off at the Port after we checked out.
Oia is stunning and we spent 3 days there driving back and forth. We would have stayed there but it was too expensive. Make sure you go there for sunset, it's crowded but worth visiting in the evening. The blue and white domes in Santorini are break taking.
I would not go back to this hotel as the location is just too far and unless is gets a reno I'll stay in Fira next time.
The front desk staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Although my review sounds negative keep in mind that this is a 3 star hotel desperately needing a reno. It has potential and the view makes up for some of the negative aspects.

Room Tip: Choose a room that overlooks the ocean and pool area

Santorini is beautiful Island - if you can afford it, stay in Oia or Fira - this is on the edge of nowhere with nothing special about the hotel or the area thats it in. In fact its a pretty rundown area.

The only good thing about the area is Santorini Wines which is a must visit but you can drive or get cab to the winery so not worth basing your entire stay for this reason.

The hotel is a dump.

Showers don't work - low pressure and they stink.
Toilets not great - unclean.
Rooms have some old, mouldy, stained furniture.
Wires hanging from the TV
Breakfast is mediocre with the same cheap food served everyday
Old microwaves, chairs, fridges and furniture dumped outside of the hotel.

You will get fobbed of daily with your complaints until you kick-up enough fuss that they will upgrade you.

Your upgrade will make your stay slightly better but not by much.

Holidayed here in October 2016. The view is breath-taking- we hiked from Fira to Oia and whilst the views were incredible it was hard to beat the view from the hotel!

Staff are incredibly attentive and very helpful. We had delicious cocktails and enjoyed the food in the hotel restaurant.

The hotel is located a bus ride away form Fira and there is a bus stop right outside. Equally, the hotel staff are happy to book any taxis. They also offer a free shuttle service to and from the airport.

There are certain parts of the hotel that could be improved e.g water pressure however the view and staff make up for any shortcomings.

The spa is a little expensive though worth a visit as treatments are lovely.
