Les Lauriers offers a large buffet of fresh fish, meat, steaks and salads. It was from the Restaurants point of view a highlight for us during our stay in Praslin. It's absolutely recommendable, the food is very fresh. The Tuna Filet was so soft, I think it was the best i ever had!
It's a bit pricy, but it there is a good value of money!

If you like buffet this place is for you. Very good food, the fish was fresh and beautifully cooked but the service needs improvement. We only had dinner once as we don’t like queuing for food but as I said it the food is very good. Even if you’re not a buffet fan you should try it.

We have been last June for our honeymoon and we really enjoyed the hotel: nice, new, environmental friendly, very clean, 50m from the beach, helpful manager. Unfortunately the restaurant (which is considered the best in the island) was closed in those day, but for all the rest... 5 stars

This buffet has a wonderful and varied cold salad buffet. It included a smoked fish salad, sounds odd, but very tasty. Sliced mango, greens, carrots, eggplant, mushrooms, pasta, roasted potatoes, mixed veggies, beet, pumpkin chutney, etc - a vegetarian's dream. Additionally, the buffet includes fish (tonight it was sailfish, tuna, and dorado), pork ribs, and chicken. Rice, lentils and fish soup finished off the buffet. Deserts included chocolate cake, passion fruit cheesecake and ice cream. We did not have dessert so we can't comment on those. The sailfish was perfectly cooked. Get there early, it seems they don't replace items when the bowls are empty. But highly recommend this restaurant.

Not normally a fan of buffet concept dining we were recommended to try Les Lauriers and were so impressed we visited twice in six nights, choosing for the last night of the holiday. The first course buffet selection of twelve plus cold dishes salads included smoked fish salad, palm hearts, beef with peppers and they were all top quality there was also soup on offer. The main choices included curries but the outstanding dishes were the BBQ items, fabulous fish including tuna, sail fish, job fish and barracuda. There was also chicken and beef and the beef was fantastic, perfectly cooked and melting in the mouth. A choice of a couple of desserts rounds of the evening. Reasonably priced drinks and good, friendly service made this a great evening. Given the quality the menu is excellent value for money. This is a family owned and run business and Edwin and Diego deserve a big thanks for the hospitality shown to guests.
