These apartments are a great location across from the beach. The inside of the rooms are typical Crete/Greece decor dark furniture and normally more furniture than you need and old, but saying that if you are British or any nationality where you see the sun 12 days a year then you don't want a plush place, you want clean and comfortable and that is what these apartments are.

They are tired and could do with a makeover as the pictures they present on the webpage are not like the apartments we stayed in. These were cleaned regularly and towels left. We had a problem with the shower and this was promptly fixed. For us they served a purpose, up and out and enjoying the sunshine.

They are close to lots of other taverns and a nice walk along the beach. Cheap and cheerful is this location!! Staff serving are helpful and pleasant. The owner bellowed out orders sometimes to the staff which wasn't nice so we didn't eat a lot at the restaurant attached to the apartments.

Don't expect too much and you won't be disappointed with the rooms.

Discourteous, any hospitality, bad quality.

The photos in Internet don't correspond.

Old and neglected hotel, full of mosquitoes.noisy actually to the three of the morning.

If the conditioned air is wanted in room it is paid apart.
The quality of the food in the restaurant is very bad.

little beach with rock-cliffs.

Don't expect too much, and you'll have a fantastic stay!!
Unfortunately, the hotel has a dressed up website, showing a styled room and dressed pool area. This can lead you to expect a luxourious place and this is far from that. It is, however, a very nice family operated hotel with a nice pool for families with kids. The beach is 50 meters away, and the staff is just great.
If you lower your expectations and can live with the fact that it is clean and nice, and that most things work most of the time, and if not, just tell the owner and he'll get it fixed, you'll be very happy here. We were, and knowing what to expect and what not to expect, we'll definitely be back.

Just back from 3 weeks at Tsalos Beach Apts. Accommodation fantastic, sheets changed every 3 days, towels every other day. Staff very helpful and friendly couldn't do enough for you. Pool bar staff did everything to make your holiday enjoyable. Accommodation opposite beach and within walking distance of village, lots of great traditional greek resturants. Had a fantastic holiday and will definitely be back.

You get what you pay for,
knackered air-con (which by the way you can switch on wihout paying 40 euros a week for the remote, just lift the front panel and switch on manually!)
uncomfty beds, linen only changed once in 2 weeks.
only ate in 3 times as the kitchen area was crap and the fridge opened all the time.
overpriced food, and not that great, try along the road or in the old village a few minutes away.
overpriced shop.
pool was not bad, though the guy in the pool bar would constantly ask if you wanted a drink which made you feel as if you had to buy something to sit there.
the pool and bar are open till midnight, with the pool lit up, nice to sit there and even get a night time swim.
you'd also think that seeing as you pay to stay there you'd get in to their own greek night free, but its 20e for adults and 15 for kids, there are better and cheaper nights throughout the place, look around.
good being right across the road from the beach though.
the place could do with some serious updating, but if you dont expect too much from it you should be fine.
be sure to check out the old village and have a wander down the road for some nicer bits of beach.
