I chose this hotel because it was the cheapest, and it was a last minute reservation. I was surprised to find that it was clean, well decorated, cute hotel with strong air conditioning (that was super important for us, traveling during Greece's worst heat wave in 40 years!), and had a delicious complimentary breakfast in the morning. The best thing about this hotel was the very welcoming staff - Especially Eleni! What a treat after a long day of traveling to feel so welcomed by the staff. Dinner suggestions were provided, and there is a good taverna just across the street, so it is a nice location that is near the port and airport.

It was a good location, pretty clean. Pretty okay place if you need to spend the night and do not have high requests. At the reception, they helped us book a taxi. Everything was fine. The Rooms were pretty old (But clean), there was No window in our room, the window was Closed from the outside for some reason. Not enough space to open your luggage. You have to turn on the A/C to get some air, But then the air becomes Pretty dry.

I lodged here for just one night prior to an early departure flight -- and all this during an unusal time, when COVID-19 was erupting, particularly in Europe.

Friendly, helpful staff. Excellent pre-arrival communication. I particularly appreciated Asterion remaining open for me — I was its only guest, the night I stayed — and providing great accommodation during a very stressful time.

Nice room, excellent WiFi, and Asterion’s staff were even kind enough to prepare the full-spread ‘included breakfast’ for just me with fresh-brewed coffee, fruit, eggs to order and so on at 04:30 in the morning (though breakfast is generally served 07:00 - 10:00). Exceptional service!

One recommended improvement: The water to the sink and shower seem to take 10-15 minutes before it warmed up and never did get very hot. Nice if it could arrive sooner at a higher temp. Small thing, you guys still rock!!!
