Great location, close to Bars and Restaurants of various food types, beaches within walking distance. Well equipped apartment, everything provided, quiet, would suit all holiday types, from the young ones right up to single or pensioner couples. Would return without doubt.

“Rejuvenating vacation in sunny Gran Canaria”

I have just returned from a relaxing vacation with a friend in the brilliant sunshine of Gran Canaria. Our rental condominium was affordably priced, well furnished and conveniently located. Upon arrival by bus from the airport, we found an immaculately clean space with a supply of drinking water. We were able to purchase provisions from the convenience store at the end of the walkway.

The unit is located mid-way up a terraced, gated sub-division with panoramic views, from the veranda, of the ocean and hills of Patalavaca. There was easy access to the hillside walking trails, local beaches, local and resort shopping. Bus services were available, within easy walking distance, to most parts of the Island including the airport and Las Palmas.

The condominium, as well as bring spotlessly clean, has a well equipped kitchen. The bedroom had a double bed with good quality linens and towels and generous wardrobe with organiser and hangers. The lounge has comfortable seating, TV, DVD, selection of books and movies. The settee easily converts into a very comfortable double bed, making the unit ideal for travelling companions.

My favourite place to sit and relax was the veranda, which is shaded with bougainvillea and oliandor. The sunsets were spectacular, walking trails and night-life of the valley inviting. All in all it was a most pleasant experience.

“cosy, traditional accommodation in gorgeous location”

I recently stayed in this one bedroom apartment in Patalavaca, and found it to be an ideal home from home. Comprising of a lounge/kitchen room, double bedroom and bathroom (with a decent shower), this would ideally suit two people; however, there is also a sofa bed in the lounge. The apartment is fully equipped with sheets, towels, and an excellent range of kitchenware. In addition, there is a washing machine, full oven/hob, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, television and DVD player. There is a table and chairs on the terrace, with sun loungers on which to soak up some afternoon sun. I enjoyed many evenings sitting here, looking out over the sea, watching the sun set, whilst savouring a bottle of Rioja. If you want to escape from the crowds of tourists, but be within walking distance to sample the restaurants and bars of Arguineguin and Anfi, this is a perfect location.

The apartment is in a gated complex, so it feels safe and secure. The communal swimming pool, which overlooks Anfi resort, is fantastic and seldom busy. For most of my stay, I was one of only a handful of people around the pool. There is a small convenience store on-site where you can purchase water and other basic provisions. Situated on a hill, visitors should probably be fairly fit, particularly if you want to take advantage of the trail along the nearby Patalavaca hill. At the bottom of the hill, there are two supermarkets and the bus stop from where you can catch regular buses south to Maspalomas ( a great beach walk along the sand dunes down to Playa de las Ingles), or north to Puerto Rico and Mogan.
