We have spent our second summer holiday in Club Cala Azul (2 adults+2 teenagers). It is a complex of various size apartaments in a beautiful location in a quiet south east part of the island. Ours consisted of 2 en-suite rooms + kitchen/living room +veranda, was freshly decorated and cleaned twice a week. Kitchen was equipped with fridge, microwave, electric hob, there was a TV and a washing machine. There was no air con but ceiling fans in the bedrooms. The complex perimeter looks out into the sea and there are steps down to a small rocky private beach. The grounds are well maintained. There is a large pool and a smaller children's pool, kids play area and a tennis court. Family orientated evening entertainment and activities throughout the day are provided. Three meals are available in an open air covered dining area-a continental breakfast, an a la carte lunch and a three course Mediterranean cusine dinner with two choices. Small sandy Blue Flag certified beach is10 mins walk away, access can be a little tricky to a disabled person. A well stocked small supermarket is 2 mins away.
What makes this place special is the Italian owners and their staff. Always smiling, welcoming and entertaining, they provide a relaxing and fun time for families. We hope to keep returning for the fantastic holidays.More
