We stayed 4 nights at this hotel in the Lofoten Islands. The first surprise was to be requires to pay for all 4 nights in advance. My suggestion that they take an imprint of my credit card was refused.albeit politely, by the charming and friendly manager/receptionist who was the one redeeming feature of this establishment, apart from breakfast which was excellent. Dinner, praised in out travel guide, simply didn't happen 'owing to lack of demand'. Instead we were advised to go down to their sister hotel '10 minutes down the road' .25 minutes later we reached it ( its in the next village) and had a disappointing meal.
Add to this a room with few mod cons and no hanging or drawer space and the experience was not a good one.
