JUST PERFECT FOR YOUR WINTER ESCAPE

We have stayed with Linda and her dogs for several weeks most winters, and find it just ideal. Although this is an older complex Linda keeps it just so. We always feel very welcome, and find the complex very well situated for us with the beach close by and the tennis club right behind. We will continue to use Clifton Sands as our winter home away from home as long as Linda is there. D & J. New Zealand.

Beautiful place to visit CAIRNS FNQ

Linda was very helpful with all aspects of our holiday very knowledgeable,all units have been updated and very clean, still a little tied but tidy, needs a little change with lighting when cooking as you stand a little in the dark.We had a great time and would return again.....OH had the most beautiful bed so comfy

Wonderful place to stay.

My wife and I spent 10 days at Clifton Sands in February 2019. We keep coming back whenever we can afford the fares to visit from the UK. The apartments are comfortable and if there is anything we need Lynda is always on hand to help.
With the beach only a couple of minutes walk away and with easy access by road to Cairns, Skyrail up to Kuranda, or up onto the Tablelands we find this an ideal base for the Queensland part of our holidays. Our time at Clifton Sands is one of the highlights of our trips to Australia.

Room tip: The views are great from the top but it does mean a bit of exercise getting there as there is no lift.

Clifton sands review

I had the pleasure of staying here at Clifton sands for 3 months, I was there from May till July and I couldn’t of found a better spot of my stay!

The units are great, very clean when arrival and they offer cleaning services throughout your stay if wanted. Fully furnished with everything you need but if you were missing something or needed it you could just ask the owner Linda and she would happily get it for you. It’s such a great community around the apartments, the beach is just a minute walk which is amazing and there’s always something to do!

Can’t thank Linda (owner) enough she makes everyone’s stay great, she’s so helpful always asking how you are and if you need anything! She helped me so much while I was here didn’t just have to be about the apartment. Keep up the great work!

I would totally recommend to stay here, you won’t regret it!

Great stay!

We stayed here for approx 10 days in july and had a fantastic time! Location was perfect for us as we spent alot of time on the beach with our 2 year old. The beach is only a 1 minute walk, practically on your doorstep! Great restaurant/ bar directly accross the road which was very handy or 2 mins drive to the local shops which has a Coles and some nice cafes/ restaurants. Only 5 mins drive to palm cove, 25 mins north to port douglas or back into cairns itself. Great spot to be in for a family holiday! The apartment was what we needed, fully self contained, ground floor which opened out onto the garden which was great for our daughter to play in. Linda who owns the property was always lovely to deal with and very helpful with anything we needed. Will definitely be back next year to enjoy this little piece of paradise!
