We have just had a great three week holiday in Clifton Beach. We stayed at Clifton Sands and it was the perfect place to stay and have a relaxing holiday. The units have everything you could need; a fully equipped kitchen, a really comfy bed and a great hot water service- our after-swim showers were always hot! We swam in the beach and pool everyday and enjoyed relaxing on our deck as the sun went down. Linda the Manager, is very knowledgeable and friendly and can assist the guests with advice and book tours to the reef and Daintree etc. I’m looking forward to being back next year and wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

Awesome facilities, did have issues with hot water but Linda was right on to it and sorted it. Great if you want a relaxing holiday with no hussel and bussel. Gardens were looked after well. Close to the beach, and a great restaurant called Coco Mojo. They even do takeaways. Close to shopping facilities. A very convenient and tidy apartments. Very friendly and helpful . Would definiately stay again. Highly recommended.

Room tip: Higher units have view of beach, 2nd floor which we were in a little view of beach.

Absolutely fantastic units with all the facilities you need. Especially true when you are travelling with children. We stayed for five days and loved it. The units had a good kitchen with all utensils and cutlery. The laundry had a washer and dryer which is extremely handy during the wet season.

If you need public transport the bus stop is a 1 minute walk from the front gate. There is a good restaurant across the street. The beach is a 2 minute walk from the gate.

Linda is extremely helpful and accommodating. She is very good with children too. She went out of the way to help us to get to the airport in time as there were road closures due to heavy rain.( This level of rain was very unusual , just our luck)

Highly recommend and will stay there again in the next visit.

2nd week in a 3 week stomp around Auz brought us to Clifton Sands a few miles outside Cairns, We had booked budget accommodation thru out our trip and were not disappointed by any of them. this place however was above all expectations. the apartments are huge and fully equipped, the loation is 2 mins walk from the sea, there is a Tai restaurant across the road, shops and garage 5 mins drive.
If looking for 5star luxury you will need to pay more money, but if looking for clean affordable on a budget you cant go wrong.
Thank you Linda for you hospitality . shane and penny England

What a great find, 1 minute to the beach, serene surrounds and beautifully kept facilities. The unit has everything you could need and more, clean and neat with a little something extra. Wonderful atmosphere, friendly and helpful management. We will be back!
