Everything about this hotel is great except the pool. It is very small.
But the staff, Breafast is everything you can ask for. Nice beach too.
Nice neighbourhood with massages resturant ECT. I would stay here again.

We stayed in the 3BR condo on the beach, and it was great! Not only did we have a private pool, but we had stairs leading down to the beach. The solicitors walking up and down the beach got kind of annoying, but once you're firm with them and let them know you're not interested, they leave you alone. The kitchen was located outside by the pool, and we hired a private chef to come cook dinner for us one night, which was the best food we had our entire stay. I would definitely go back.

I don't write reviews but had to give credit to this hotel and their staff. We arrived at the hotel and if Im honest I was little disappointed with my first impressions of the reception but that is where my disappointment ended. The staff checked us in and Amy showed us to our plunge pool room, we thought it was a bit small to what we are used to so asked to see other rooms, Amy spoke the the manager and worked really hard to get us a good deal, they offered us a Hydro villa or a Grand villa and we decided on the grand villa at a acceptable rate increase. on day two the air con stopped working and could not be fix due to a part they had to wait for and would take 24 hours to arrive, the hotel was appologetic and with out hesitation one of the managers came to see us to show us a villa that they would like us to have with their compliments, well WOW! they put us in a 2 bed resident villa that was big enough for a family of 5, these villas are beautiful and are totally exclusive to you with full privacy, this villa would of been 5 times the cost of our booking but the hotel put cost to one side and put our pleasure of stay with them priority. The staff in the hotel is second to none and the hotel is clean with a good selection at breakfast, Amy comes round every morning at breakfast to talk with the guests to make sure all is well and she really is so personable its a credit to the hotel to employ her. The beach has a super friendly security guy who gets your towels and helps you set up and he never ignores you when ever you see him at the beach or around the hotel and always has a massive smile on his face. The sad thing for us was the beach is not what we expected with coarse sand and mercy water but the hotel can't be expected to be responsible for this but I have to say Cheweng beach has soft white powder sand and the water is clear but with that said if this hotel had a beach like Cheweng I would be returning without hesitation. Thank you so much for a lovely experience guys

Room Tip: We didn't like the plunge pool rooms, hire a hydro or grand villa

We stayed just one night on the way back from Koh Phangan. We were ‘upgraded’ to a deluxe jacuzzi room. I’d suggest avoiding these rooms - they’re across the road from the hotel in a separate building. No view and plenty of mosquitoes. The beach is ok but sand is a bit grainy. Loungers not very comfortable. Lamai is a fairly lively resort. White males with escort girls everywhere. Not our thing.

The positives- staff at hotel were friendly. It was clean. Great ‘managers cocktail buffet’ at 6pm by the pool/beachfront. If you walk up the beach to the right there’s an outstanding seafood restaurant called bamboo.

Dear babyeel,

Warmest greetings from Pavilion Samui Villas & Resort

We greatly appreciate your valued time conveying its comment during your stay. We learn and regret that your expectation is less then satisfied during your vacation.

I would take this opportunity to explain regards to the room assignment across the road. Indeed, our resort had expanded our hospitality businesses and builds additional 10 rooms across the main resort. Hence, we had features and stated clearly that this room type (Deluxe Jacuzzi Room) were across the street.

Nevertheless, this room type is our 1st categories and for any room upgraded from this room type should be in our main resort area. However, there must be some mistake on the communication.

Our staff members were happy to receive your positive comment regards of our services and facilities provided.

We would like to express our gratitude to thank you so much for staying with us. We will continue to aim on offering you the best experience given the chance to serve you again in the near future and would be very delighted to welcome you again in Pavilion Samui Villas & Resort!

We stayed at the Pavilion resort for a couple of nights before we headed to Koh Tao, and really enjoyed it. We had a room with its own plunge pool, which I thought we wouldn’t use that much but I was wrong! It was great! The hotel is aiming to be between 4 and 5 star but it’s lacking in some areas e.g wood rotting in the bathroom but that’s to be expected when it’s a wet area. The pool was a decent size, it looks small in the pictures but the hotel doesn’t seem that big anyway. Service was good, especially from one of the girls (I didn’t get her name) on the front desk. There was a management evening where the staff met with the guests over free canapés and a cocktail - a good opportunity to meet the staff and some free food! Food was lovely but a bit expensive compared to what we were paying in Chiang Mai for example. The hotel is right on the beach, with free loungers if you are quick enough to get any. There are plenty loungers by the pool and bar area which still overlook the beach.
Lamai Main Street is a bit odd, it’s quieter than chaweng beach which is why we stayed there but it’s a bit touristy. Not many street vendors (if any) but we did eat at a small place which did Thai and Japanese food. Very cheap and very friendly, although they don’t have a name yet!
I’d stay at this hotel again or look for the same chain in other areas in Thailand.
