“Patient & dedicated wedding planner”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 March 2012

I have had a chance to liase with the wedding planner Ms Napht for the past week and have sensed the dedication in her job thru her prompt and genuine replies.

Despite her busy scheule, she made time to respond to my unwavering queries with regards to a photoshoot my fiancée and I are planning coming mid year.

She even assured me that she'd respond.

Thus, despite not even staying in the hotel, we believe that we can be assured the best service.

Looking forward to our trip. So anyone considering to liase with Ms Naphat will be able to receive positive service.

I'm unable to comment on the rest of the aspects of silavadee as I've not had my stay, however, I believe it wld be top notch.

We went to stay there for 11 nights in February 2012. We stayd in pool villa with fantastic sea view. Excellent swimming pool, and the villa was of extremelly high standard. The resturant was of very high quality! The service is perfect and the food is perfect.
There is a private beach at the resort and it is very nice.

All the people who is working at the resort is very helpfull and smiley!

We love this place and we will be back to stay there soon this year.

This hotel left me with a bit of a indifferent feeling... The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful - it has kept a traditional Samui feel, with a few 'older features', e.g. it still has key locks (as opposed to swipe cards). I quite liked the rustic feel, as it has a lot of character. Other than that, the rooms are extremely luxurious.

We had a room with a ocean view and jacuzzi, which was really impressive. The hotel also faces both to the East and West, so one can enjoy beautiful sunrises and sunsets.

It also has its own private beach which again is amazingly beautiful, and one can lounge on the beach in peace and quite.

Now for the not so great - language was a big issue with the staff. The staff was really friendly, however I doubt they understood any English. I understand that it is Thailand, but I did not have any issues at the other hotels we stayed at in Thailand. The staff got our food orders wrong (for breakfast and dinner) on 5 separate occasions.

The private beach is great as mentioned above, and they even have a small bar down on the beach. I don't see the use of it though, as a drinks order would take somewhere between 30-40 minutes to arrange, even when I walked up and ordered at the bar.

In terms of pricing, I understand that this is a luxury resort, however this place was a bit overpriced in terms of restaurant and (in particular) spa prices. There are plenty of upmarket places in Chaweng that is as luxurious, for almost half the price. We didn't even use the spa once, as it was just completely out priced. So it will not be getting the value for money tick from me.

As for location, this was very private and quiet, which was exactly what we were after. It is however very isolated, and getting to other restaurants, or to Chaweng was a bit of a mission, costing us a couple of THB1,000 (return) cab rides.

Room Tip: A top floor unit would have ocean views.

We had the best time at this resort, the staff are amazing, the room was beautiful, the views were amazing, the food was delicious, the spa was the best and everything was perfect. When we moved on to the next part of our trip we wished we could go back here. This place was the highlight of our trip and made the rest of it look bad.
