Marina and Marino couldn't do enough for us, including picking up from and returning us to the port, providing drinking water and veggies from the garden, helping us sort out car rental, fix wifi etc etc.
The house is in a very quiet spot a short way from the sea. It's a lovely setting and the courtyard with hammocks, table & chairs and attendant cats is so nice to sit and drink coffee in.
The house and garden are filled with lovely curios which I think Marino may have made himself(?), all kinds of quirky ornaments and nick-nacks and windchimes and mirrors, adds greatly to the charm of the place.
There is a big fridge/freezer and the kitchen is reasonable except no microwave or dishwasher. The bathroom is fine, it's downstairs. There is a dining area and a sitting room, all kind of open plan with the kitchen, and the sitting room has a very special arched window with a lovely sea view. The bedrooms are very nice - one with a balcony with lovely views, the other also with lovely views and very big.
The house has nearby beaches but is a brisk 10-12 minute walk from bus stop, small supermarket, restaurants, petrol station and car hire in Aghios Prokopis. When we tried the walk to Hora it was a long walk for us - 40 minutes. There's a lot to see in Naxos so I'd recommend hiring a car for at least some of the time.
