Large villa, very clean and well maintained. Easy to find once collected keys from Selini Suites just up the road. Welcomed with complimentary bottle of wine and fresh fruit. Had read about friendly helpful gardener/handyman - he was an absolute joy. We found out he's from Albania and his daughter is one of the cleaners. He would bring us fresh figs and found water polo ball for us to use in the pool. He's always smiling and helped us when our A/C needed bit of attention - he rang the linked Selini Suites and got the repair man to us within an hour. This was our first visit to Crete and we are very pleased to pick this area. Saw lots of local traditional life. You must have hire car to get around but would recommend you take bus into Chania. Parking in Chania is not easy and the bus is cheap and convenient. The bus stop is just few yards down the lane on main road by the blue church. Chania is absolutely beautiful and a must if you stay here. Washing machine very useful with airer on balcony with pegs. Dishwasher came with tabs. Glad I took my own hairdryer as one provided did not work well. Don't bother taking your own iron as one provided with ironing board worked well. No mirrors in bedrooms so take you own - easier for drying hair etc is someone using bathroom.

We have just stayed here for a week and cannot fault these villas.

Well maintained gardens and pool cleaned daily. Gardener always has a smile on his face and brings fresh fruit from the gardens.

Cleaners also very friendly and welcoming.

Shops and restaurants all within walking distance but recommend hiring a car to see more of the island.

Also only 45 mins from Chania airport by car.

You collect the keys from the Selini Hotel just up the road.

If you want privacy and some peaceful time to relax then these villas are highly recommended.

Thank you for helping to make our holiday most enjoyable.

Recently had our family 10 day holiday the Selini Villas. Chose the villa to suit our needs (4 teenage girls 13-15) but wanted the all inclusive option. The Selini Suites hotel was a ten minute walk away, or 2 minutes on the free mountain bikes provided at the villa. We were initially concerned about the distance but soon came to enjoy walk and using the bikes. The facilities at the villa were excellent, very clean, 2 bathrooms, washing machine, gorgeous private pool, lounge area, 3 bedrooms. Only downside we can possibly mention is the lack of mirrors (only fitted in bathrooms), a huge issue for teenagers!!
Vasili the gardener was a fantastic help, he brought our kids inflatables for the pool that had been left behind, he cleaned down the pool area every morning and brought us fresh figs off the nearby trees, an real gentleman - can't sing his praises enough.
The facilities at the hotel were great too. The staff extremely helpful and friendly, food was excellent with plenty of choice - even for the fussiest of teenagers! Hotel is very clean and tidy, pretty quiet though with entertainment one night a week only, so don't go expecting to do the conga round the pool every night with the holiday reps. Joking aside the place was nice and chilled out, family friendly - which suited us perfectly.
Definitely worth getting the bus from directly outside the hotel door. Recommend a boat trip from Kolombari, and shopping trips to Plantanias / Chania. Buses are cheap and all have air con.

We stayed in a 3 bedroom villa with swimming pool. There are 8x villas in this location, which is 1Km from the centre of Kolymbari fishing village.
The villa is very modern with all amenities (air con, heating, etc.) with plenty of room for 6x people. The free Wi-Fi is intermittent, but always managed to connect when on the roof terrace !
The pool was very nice with a garden area around it with loungers.
The villas are a little remote in terms of access to a beach or village, so would recommend a car. There are free bicycles to use.
The handyman responsible for the villas was very nice and checked that everything was okay every time he saw us in the morning or evening.
Make sure you eat in Kolymbari, in one of the restaurants overlooking the bay/small harbour; all are great,

Room Tip: All villas are nearly identical.

Stayed in a very nice 3 bedroom villa with family and in-laws, beautifully landscaped surroundings and the private pool was a hit with the kids. The villa layout was good with two bedrooms and a full bath upstairs, and another bedroom, smaller bathroom with shower, kitchen and living room downstairs. A small issue was that the parking was tight and only fit one car, so the second car had to be parked further away. Another issue, and more annoying one, was that the free wifi connection was very spotty and extremely slow when finally connected. A benefit was that we had access to the nearby Selini Hotel grounds so we could also take advantage of their pool and other services. All in all a very enjoyable stay.
