We enjoyed a truly blissful stay in this charming home-from-home. Piegaro is a delightful and unpretentious village, and all the amenities that one could ask for are on the doorstep: useful shops, restaurants, a couple of very friendly cafe-bars,and winding medieval streets (with their resident felines!) affording views at every turn. Also the fascinating glass museum, telling the story of the local industry. You feel as if you are in the heart of the real Italy, a tranquil and unspoilt haven which is fantastically placed for touring the surrounding areas, that are rich in history and beauty. Casa del Sole lives up to its name and description, with light flooding into the spacious and uncluttered rooms. It is extremely comfortable and well appointed, with everything that one could wish for in a perfect holiday home. In particular, the kitchen is very well equipped and convenient and a joy to cook in, and the garden terrace is a lovely place to sit in the golden evening light.
I would heartily recommend this property, and we can't wait to go back ourselves.
This nice apartment is tucked away on a quiet hill street in Piegaro with a view of the hills, a lovely tree shaded picnic garden, very spacious and nicely furnished two bedrooms and living room and dining room, and a great, eat-in kitchen that has everything you need for a perfect italian meal. I spent a lot of time with a cup of coffee sitting in the garden. Easy access to the town, great little restaurants and walks to the country. Loved the whole visit.
