We has our wedding ceremony and party at La torricelli, and it was such a perfect day. Everything was set up outside and the weather was perfect, which made for brilliant views of the alps and surrounding vineyards. The staff was very serviceminded and accommodating. We used the rustic rooms to get ready, but did not sleep there. The food was great, but we had a special menu set up for the wedding, we also had the wine that they produce at La Torricella for the dinner, which we really liked and it complemented the food nicely. I would absolutely recommend staying here or using the location for a celebration.

We were there for dinner as a big group, so everything was arranged prior to our arrival. A special reduced version of the menu was printed and placed on our tables and although we didn't get to see everything that was available, we had a wonderful meal there. Service was efficient and the food was great, not to mention the setting, that was made even more beautiful by the pink tones of the sunset. Definitely worth going!

Thank you very much for your very review My family and our staff work hard in order to offer the best but we are also very lucky for our extraordinary panoramic view of all the Langhe Grazie Grazie

We had a menu: 2 starters and 1 main for the price of €28 per person. Add €20 for an excellent bottle of Barbera and you have two full stomachs and very happy people for the price of €68. Waiters are friendly, nice atmosphere, would definitely go again.

We had planned only to quickly taste whitewines at the recommended vinyard and it was the end of a loooong winetasting route- so we figured quick in out. Arriving after 8pm a flexible waiter quickly regrouped instead of saying the winetasting was closed he offered to do the tasting in a side area of their garden restaurant and improvised a quick tasting. Staggeringly beautiful view and peaceful mood of hilltop restaurant tables spread in the vinyard stopped us in our tracks. My husband was concerned about staying for dinner due to a long ride back thereafter at night so we resisted for a while just tasting and then efficientlh ordering the wines for our cellar. The subtle but very welcoming (and smart) waiter confirmed that if we perhaps decided to stay for a small bite before the long drive home it would be quickly served, not the usual long waits at fine restaurants in italy
So- . We ordered pastas- mine the veal ravioli pasta specialty and my husbands a vegetarian pasta. It was perfection and very modestly priced and rapidly served as promised. Polished off with perfect cappucino and macchiato espressos we were fortified for our long ride back .
It was a magical environment, top attentive and yet not 'invasive' service, exceptionally good food and lovely wine -and- did i say magic environment. We would imagine going back there in future for a long proper relaxed dinner and even staying in the hotel which we glimpsed....

We absolutely loved this place. We stayed one night but are already planning our next visit. The view is absolutely spectacular and the room we stayed in was very charming indeed. The pool area is delightful although we didn't get to use it because it was raining on the day of our visit.

We did the wine tour/tasting and the wines were absolutely incredible and our guide very knowledgable. The local snacks provided were tasty and very much appreciated.

We had dinner at the restaurant and the food is delicious, especially when paired with some of la toricella's wines. I would give this place 5 stars but I have taken one off due to the slightly sloppy and abrupt service in the restaurant. One of the waiters in particular acted like he was doing us a favour and failed to apologise properly after dropping an entire plate of food in my husband's lap.

The breakfast the following morning was really tasty and included lovely home made cakes and local produce.

Don't let the below par service in the restaurant put you off - this place is a delight and should be on anyone's list of visiting the Alba/Barolo area.
