Villa Quar, a hotel managed by the owners, has the brand Relais & Chateaux, that would already be a good service guarantee. Great food, nice wine list, considering that the hotel is in Valpolichella region, great breakfast, Hotel site does not live up to what you will get to know and enjoy this hotel. The whole brigade unfolds to meet you, and the owner, is always present in the same way to serve well. Belissima construction, and preserved, still produces some wine on the spot, a great pool, few rooms guarantee sossego.Nota 10, this hotel left missed by all.

Room tip: small and quiet hotel, no have problem in choise apartmentsmall and quiet hotel, no problem apartment of choice

The outside is typical of the area and well maintained. The serving staff were fantastic but that's it. The management were extremely inflexible, would not allow a late check out to 4pm unless we paid €250. The room rate of €530 was overpriced. The rooms were dark and uninviting. The owners large dog roamed the grounds and went for me on 2 occasions and I had to warn them that there small children and that a dog of that size should not be allowed to roam freely. We asked to have lunch in the garden and this met with a huff and was a was as if I had asked for some strange and over the top request. However the food was of excellent standard. But I would not come again

Although this hotel is situated in the middle of vineyards & is architecturally interesting, & the staff are friendly & attentive, there is nothing else to recommend it, particularly at the high room rate - 390 euros per night in our case. Even at that price the room was small & gloomy, situated in the old domestic quarters of the building. There weren't enough power sockets - we had to unplug the table lamp to charge the mobile phone, & no long mirror, & in the bathroom only one small piece of soap. The breakfast was unremarkable, & the dinner menu frankly perverse & very expensive. Outside, the nearby railway line was clearly audible & just visible. The distance from Verona & consequent frequent expensive taxi rides made the choice of hotel as a base for exploring Verona a bad one - much better to stay centrally in the city & avoid the depressing journey from the hotel through the immediate light industrial estate & satellite villages.

This one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in,from the moment you arrive you are made to feel welcome and special, the interior of the hotel is a very pleasing place to stay and on a very hot day the poolside and outdoor bar area are wonderfull. The eveing meals and breakfast are both as good as they come.We would recommend this hotel to anyone.

From the moment we arrived we were treat like royalty and family. The staff were so knowledgeable and extremely helpful. A local restaurant was recommended one evening and it was such a find for us to join the locals. When we arrived back during a cloudburst the staff rushed out with umbrellas. And did I mention the breakfasts?.Fresh and wonderful. All the rooms were individually furnished with taste and the location was superb, tucked amongst the vineyards.

Room tip: All amazing
