I wasn't too great a fan of this island, however my friend loved it so it really does depend what you are looking for! The food was basic, quite a mixed bag each day for dinner e.g. instant noodles with boiled potato and meat. The electricity was only on from around 6.30pm - 10.15pm, so you would normally be guaranteed a good night's sleep (if the mattresses hadn't been so flat!) Also, I shared my cold shower with 2 lizards, which was an interesting experience.. Not much to do on the island itself to be honest, there was a beach but you had to constantly move up the beach to get out of the shade (if you like shade, obviously no harm in that!) We travelled on an Awesome Adventures package and had a snorkelling trip to the Blue Lagoon and a trip to Sawailu Caves included, however we were a bit disappointed that we had to then pay extra to rent the snorkelling equipment - admittedly it was only 5FJD + 50FJD refundable deposit. The staff were lovely, especially Sarah, she was a crazy character!! We had a very relaxing time there though, but as they say you really do get what you pay for.
