This is indeed a lovely hotel in many ways, not just the views and cleanliness but also the owners Gerald and Martin. They were so approachable and friendly throughout our stay [10th to 17th August]; nothing is too much trouble and they have alot of information/leaflets on what to see and do and advice on how to get there. The family suite rooms was spotlessly clean and comfortable with a small safe and plenty of wardrobe space and hangers. Waking up every day to Martin's lovely breakfast was delightful; a generous assortment of food and drinks etc and his beautifull fruit salad was the nicest I have ever had. If we go back to this region we will definately strive to stay here again.

Lovely hotel in the middle of a beautiful peaceful area. Breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed the quiet time. Much better than staying in the middle of Triberg. Beautiful countryside and lovely views. Would highly recommend. Also great for gluten free.

Booked to stay here 3 nights with friends. A modern well presented guest house located in the sleepy village of Schonach and close to the tourist resort of Triberg. There is onsite parking. We stayed in Room 8, which is described as a suite. Well furnished, well presented and spotlessly clean. Great views over the village. Good selection of breakfast offerrings iincluding fresh cooked eggs. Owners speak English and are very friendly. They are keen to provide you with details of local tourist attractions. Definitely the place to stay in Schonach.

At the top of the village stands this nice and warm hotel with an amazing view of the countryside and town.
Hosting with a permanent smile this clean and well equipped place is perfect for a stay in this area.

Close to Triberg waterfalls as well as an hour drive to Titisee and Feldberg attractions.

Not really anything to add to previous reviews. Superb throughout, spotlessly clean. big bedroom, very comfy beds, well fitted bathroom with excellent shower power, Breakfast was wholesome, full of German fare, cheeses, meats, cereals, juices, breads, eggs etc. Staff were very welcoming and effecient. Excellent centre for touring (Triberg (waterfalls good rest a bit disappointing),Titisee and the jewel Schilltach). You will not be disppointed.

Room Tip: I am sure all are equally good but views over meadows perhaps lighter
