Just returned from a fantastic family holiday at Turtle Beach. The Hotel was perfect, the staff were friendly and accommodating especially Captain Sam and his team at the Watersports hut.
The buffets were varied and plentiful as were the drinks, beautiful beach and a wonderful view of the pool and beach from room 419. Very relaxing !

This was a 'family friendly' hotel, and we were a couple. But ... this was actually fine. The staff were so attentive - as were the parents! - that the babies and children were not a pain but actually entertaining. The hotel was casual and 'chilled', the menus were maybe slightly repetitive, but the welcoming atmosphere and the general efficiency were impressive. Only slight gripe: we were told that there would be a 'courtesy room' available for the remaining hours on our last day after we had checked out of our room, but it seemed that there was only one room available and this had been allocated to others by the time we asked for it. We were, however, offered a cupboard to store things in for our convenience, though!

Room Tip: Ask for a quiet room, not overlooking the pool areas.

Brought 2 of my teens to Barbados while I played polo at Apes Hill. Great time. The weather did turn the last 2 days but we were not bored. Great fitness center for an island resort hotel. Food was very good, much variety

Spent a glorious week in the Turtle Beach Resort in April. Staff were exceptional, charming and couldn't do enough for you. Very comfortable rooms, beautiful beach and loungers with great staff on hand. Drinks served around the clock - nothing was too much trouble. Food was excellent and plentiful and perfect when travelling with two hungry teenagers! Cannot recommend this place enough - we will most certainly be returning. Interestingly many of the guests we met had already been there before and so repeat business is common for Turtle Beach.
Area is great for getting to various places in Barbados and facilities in hotel were also excellent - nice tennis courts, gym, lovely pools and jacuzzi, although personally prefer the sea which was crystal clear, turquoise and transparent. White sand - what more can I say. It was paradise. Absolutely loved Barbados, the Bajan people and, above all, the place.

Room Tip: We had pool, garden view which was perfect and being on ground floor meant you could sit on a very spacious patio. Entertainment was opposite our room but if finished at 10 pm so was never a problem. If you are desperate for a sea view, I am told rooms and views are wonderful but I preferred to get up early and walk along the beach to savour the sunshine.

There is nothing bad to say about this hotel! Food was good and rooms were clean. My daughter who is 7, loved the kids club. Lots of sunbeds and a very nice man who brought drinks, ice lollies and fruit round to your sun lounger. Go and relax !
