I have recently stayed in Panwa Boutique for
3 nights at the Beach Front Room. Love it as I enjoyed the crashing wave sound from the room. Calm and peaceful. This is really a place to unwind for R&R.

Breakfast is great as you can order several other food from the breakfast menu, other than the usual buffet spread. They hv Egg Ben, Egg Florentine, fried rice, noodle, etc. I love this concept as 1) food is serve hot 2) no food wastage. One improvement for management to take note is to inform the cafe crew to the plates in between the meals rather than wait till guest leave the cafe.

Staffs are attentive and friendly, I have no problem communicating in simple English with everyone. Kudos to Bee (front desk) and Nun (spa therapist) as they did an excellent job!

There will be a 24hrs mart opening soon (within next 1-2 weeks) from the hotel, say like about 1km walk. It's a hilly route but worth the walk if you don't hv knee problem.

20 steps walk to next door beach front restaurant for local Thai seafood and another 8mins walk to another halal Thai food. Further walk of 15mins will hv few cafe/massage.

This resort caught us by pleasant surprise. Having booked last minute we weren't expecting much. We paid for the garden view deluxe but on arrival we were upgraded to beach front. (And it was not low occupancy.) Hotel is moderately older in layout but well placed and clean.
If you looking for a quiet getaway with a loved one or family, its ideal and cost effective. Staff are friendly and helpful, always with a smile! Decent spread for breakfast buffet, with low wastage from good planning. In hotel dining with good food and affordable. Nearby beach facing local restaurants are also available for a quiet dinner. You can book activities at the front desk or take a grab car to Phuket town, THB400 & 30mins drive. I was just happy lazing at the pool and and beach enjoying the breeze!

We came in the low season and practically had the place to ourselves! Beautiful pool, right on the beach, beautiful beach and scenery in quiet part of phuket but not too far from the action if you have a scooter or taxi is easy. The hotel is a little bit old but is in good condition with well kept facilities.
By far the best part was the staff, they went out of their way to help us enjoy our stay, look out for Jah at the bar, Bee and Deedy at reception and Mint, Benny and Fair in the restaurant - all beautiful people that made our stay 10/10

We will be coming back

I stayed here with 3 friends for 3 nights/2.5 days. We booked through Booking.com and chose this resort for its proximity to a beach since it truly is right on the water. The beach itself was nice and very empty so for us, it felt like we almost had the whole beach to ourselves. We also noticed that there weren't a lot of resort guests on the property but that may be because it is currently the off-season.

The rooms are very nice and the photos accurately depict the room. The pillows were pretty stiff to the point that I was really uncomfortable but my friend was perfectly comfortable with the pillows. The beds are comfy and the rooms are large. The hotel was very accommodating by putting me and my three friends between two rooms that connected. It was a little strange that they connected in the bathroom, of all places.

The pool is nice and refreshing. The gym facilities were subpar. The equipment is fine and does the job but they are located in a room that doesn't have much room to actually work out in. I will say that it was enough for my needs and with the rather empty resort, no one else was really trying to use the machines/weights. The only cardio was one stationary bike and one step master.

Our booking had breakfast included which I thought was actually a decent meal. Wide variety of food options as well as a buffet and a la carte options.

Negatives: There is only one restaurant at the resort and it is extremely overpriced for what it is, especially after we've seen more authentic Thai restaurants that were half the price. (There is one restaurant next door to the resort called @TheBeach Restaurant which served the same quality food, if not better, for almost half the price) I had a particularly bad experience with our dinner at the resort - I had ordered the Crab Tian Salad which cost the same as some of the entrees dishes but was less than half the size of an entree. The chef had left the crab shells in the salad so every bite had an unpleasant crunch since there was essentially "plastic" from the shell in every bite. They did take it back and did not charge me for the salad; and they did bring me a plate of cut up fruits which I did appreciate.
The resort is also very far from the nearest town and the taxis on Phuket are very expensive. Getting a taxi through the hotel is even more expensive. I highly recommend renting a car to save on taxi costs and to give you freedom to explore the other towns on the island. We felt almost trapped in the resort on the first day with an overpriced restaurant. They also offer tours at the concierge which you should be able to barter down the price but because there were so few hotel guests, the sales person really tries to convince you to buy a tour. (We had already booked a tour for our group online prior to arriving in Phuket)

Overall, it was a nice stay and a nice price but you make up for it in the restaurant and the bar (which the pool bar and beach bar are also very expensive...). I recommend it for those seeking a very private experience with easy access to a beach and beach chairs (and beach swings, there are two)
