Had dinner here while staying at the B&B, dinner was good with plenty of options, and the people serving us were lovely always working with a smile on their face.
The food I would say is a little overpriced as I had the butternut squash tagine, which was either £10.95 or £11.95 (can't remember now) which is very expensive for something that is able to be made easily and cheaply, and the tagine I was given was relatively bland. Apart from that the portions were generous and deserts were delicious.

We were a group of 14 and were served our food very quickly and everyone enjoyed their meal. Mine was delicious and a perfect portion amount for me. The full breakfast was just what was required the morning after and this was topped off by friendly and helpful staff at every turn.

Our large group (9 people, from toddler through grandparents) booked a table; a previous night we found no space available so learned our lesson. (There are not many opportunities to eat in the immediate area.) Service was slow, and we realized that there were just two cooks in the kitchen, working hard to handle all the orders. The food was good, with a menu varied enough to suit all tastes, including those wanting vegetarian and one who is gluten-free.

We ordered haggis balls and salmon starters which were lovely. Ordered burgers and fish and chips for main. Burgers were excellent but the fish was very greasy and that spoilt the taste.
We felt the price was high for this average meal.
A beautiful setting on a nice day. We also sat on the balcony having a few drinks later in the evening.

Arrived at 3:30pm for a meal as advertised as serving food until 4pm. Found great table overlooking the loch - wonderful view. Had a look through menu which looked very tasty. But when went to place our order we were told that they had stopped serving food. Reason they gave was that they had a large evening booking (but it was 3:45pm !). Poor show and very disappointed as we had travelled 20 miles to visit. Headed to Aviemore where we were made very welcome.
