We stayed in the Horizon Line Villas for 1 week in September. We were in Villa Meliti. It was a lovely place to stay. Inside it was modern, clean, there was a well equipped kitchen. We were left a welcome pack of things like bread, ham, cheese, milk, soft drinks, wine and lots of other things. It was very useful to have that on arrival. We travelled with a 2 year old and they provided a baby gate for his room, they also provided a buggy.
The outdoor space was beautiful. The swimming pool and garden area are both very well maintained. Terrace and garden overlook the sea and it is less than a minute walk to the beach. The villa has designated sun beds and umbrellas on the beach. Although it is pebbly it is very nice.
The owner was so helpful, nothing was too much trouble. It really was a fab place.
The resort itself is quiet, there are 4/5 tavernas within walking distance of the villa. We enjoyed the Lighthouse bar which is 2 minute walk. There are swings and a slide just on the beach. Which was handy with the little one. Pelikanos taverna and Stefanos taverna are about 5 minutes walk from the villa. Both serve lovely food.
The nearest supermarket is about a 5 minute drive.
Would definitley recommend.

Dear Guest,

Thank you very much for sharing your experiences with us.
We are delighted to read that you enjoyed your stay in Villa Meliti!
September is a lovely month here in Rhodes. Mostly families and couples stays with us , and recently we have tried to go some extra miles to make the settings even more convenient for families with children, hence the complimentary baby facilities.
We hope to welcome you and your family back in the future,
Have a wonderful autumn in Holland.

Best Regards,
Ioannis, Cecilie, Anthony and Elda

Words are not enough to describe the excellence of this villa, the location and the people running this accommodation. We (me, my wife and our 4 y.o. son) spent 9 days in mid August having, without exaggeration, the best vacation of the past decade. The villa is luxurious, spacious, well equipped with everything you might need. There are TV’s in all 3 bedrooms and a Big Screen in the Living room with full cable and satellite TV, Blue Ray DVD player and a nice collection of DVD movies and CD’s, even a iPhone – iPod docking station. A cozy living room with lazy boy armchairs, full air-condition everywhere and free Wi-Fi internet. Outside of the living room which is in the ground floor there is the stone deck veranda and the private pool with easy access. Within a few steps you can go from the sofa to the pool and back again to the sofa watching your favorite program or cartoon for the kids. Pool is with hydro massage and really private and not like other accommodations promising privateness with you ending up swimming next to the neighbors. Beach is 40 meters from the villa which is beautiful. Sandy at the beginning and with small pebble stones near the water. Full lawn next to the pool and before the sandy beach. There are 5 Restaurants in walking distance near which are real nice. Notice La strada, located a few steps from the beach, with excellent food (Fish & Meat) with great prices. Also supermarket is a few minutes away, a beach bar with beach volley court also nearby.
A great plus to this perfect place are the people. The owner “Giannis” is a treasure. He is available 24/7 and willing to help about everything. We use to rent villas in August but never had this royal treatment anywhere. He even bought us welcome supplies and had placed them in the fridge which we found as soon as we arrived. And when I say welcome supplies I don’t mean a silly fruit basket with an apple and a cheap wine like the most hotel owners do. We found Champagne, wine, ham, cheese, toast, chips, marmalade, honey, fruits, soda pops, mineral water etc. which really impressed us. Giannis the owner doesn’t tolerate anything less than perfection and this is something you will see in every inch of the villas. The maintenance is also a great plus Mrs. Elda the house keeping was always there to ask if we need fresh towels, soap, hankies or anything else we could imagine. Discreet friendly and quick. Like also Mr. Antonis the gardener, which cleaned every day our garden, took care of our pool and was always there if we needed him and Cecilie who was really quick in helping and answering everything we needed to know in detail during our booking.
In general I would say that this villa is worth every penny we spent. As you can see in my other reviews we travel a lot. We have experience with luxurious accommodations and 5 star facilities and you may have noticed that I am quite stern. Here I can’t find anything negative even when I squeezed my brain. This is the perfect 10, we enjoyed it and look forward to return the soonest.

Room tip: All 4 villas are great

We recently returned from a family holiday at the villas and I can't recommend them enough. The villas themselves are immaculate and in such a beautiful location just across from the beach. Inside is all lovely cool marble, the air conditioning is the quietest and most efficient we had ever come across. There was a lovely welcome package when we arrived. The villas and pools are cleaned by Leda and her husband who are the most helpful and friendly people. The beach is stoney so you need beach shoes, but we had great fun snorkeling around the rocks and saw the most amazing fish. Kiotari is very quiet and great for a getaway, a car is really useful especially if you want see around the island. As for food, we recommend Stefano's and the lighthouse restaurants just a short walk away. There is also the campi di pizza at the top of the road run by a lovely young couple, the food is fresh and they deliver. We had a wonderful holiday and we highly recommend these 5* villas.

We were two couples staying for two weeks in May 2012 in Ariti villa. To be very short: the villas are great, comfortable and very well equipped, the pool suprisingly offers hydro jet massage, the beach with private sunbeds and umbrellas is quiet and peaceful (at least in May).
The location is a little bit far away from Rhodes if you want to go there daily (I wonder if there could be a reason for this :) but if you don't it is a great place to start driving to different Rhodes locations.
The hospitality and professionalism of the owner Ioannis and operation manager Cecilie were at very high level and I'd like to thank them for this. The "welcome pack" was a very pleasant surprise.
I would recommend Horizon Line Villas for everyone who wants to spend a great holiday at a quiet, relaxing place providing high comfort and independence from hotels' schedules, limitations and crowds.

These villas really qre quite fantastic if you are looking for relaxing, luxurious and low key holiday near the beach. Great location about an hour from Rhodes Town but still close enough to enable day trips etc. To be honest though, we couldn't really drag ourselves away from beach just across (the very quiet) road - private sun-beds and umbrellas, almost empty and beautiful crystal clear water to swim in. The sea does become deep very quickly so not necessarily ideal if you are taking young children, but otherwiseit's generally very calm and ideal for swimming - there is also a rock about 100 metres offshore that you can set as a goal to swim to! Lots of people were snorkelling around it too. Do take shoes for the pebbles, but they are not sharp and actually very nice to lie on with a glass of wine in the evening when the sun is starting to disappear.

The villas themselves are very comfortable as other reviews have described with plenty of room if there are just two of you. There was plenty of water and provisions when we arrived (so much so that there was still some left when we departed a week later). I was impressed that the private pool was cleaned every night (which is perfect by the way, with hyrdo jets if you need a massage). My only very minor grumble was that we lost the sun on the beach side garden of the villa quite early in the evening, but to be honest it was September and it was a good incentive to wonder over to the beach (which kept the sun quite a lot longer) with a bottle of wine for an hour or so. The villas have a great aspect over the sea, so you can get up in the morning and sit out on the front balcony to admire the views.

Agree with other reviews that Stefano's was the best restaurant, both in terms of value and food. We tried others (Mourella's which is about a 40 min walk North is in my view pricey and overrated), but the only one that came close was a place in the mountains, the name of which I forget, but it is in a town called Asklipios I think, and only 10 mins drive.

Overall, I thought this was a great place and strongly recommend it.
