Smooth 45 min car transfer from Sandton in Joburg by Moreba tours. Friendly driver, safe vehicle. The show and guided tour was supposed to start from 11 but they waited for more groups and people to show up so finally commenced from 11.40. Until then it was possible to walk around the cultural village, shop for souvenirs, have a drink etc.
The show starts with a 15 min video presentation on SA history, tribes etc which is good but the e quality is not exactly HD. Afterwards we had a lovely girl guiding us through the simulated villages of the 5 tribes, with a taste of each of their languages and customs, which lasted about 45 min. After a short break came the dance show which was also about 40 mins, with dances from all 5 tribes, marking different phases of tribal life, eg. hunting, fighting, celebrating etc. after the dance show there is a lovely buffet lunch served, with exotic dishes such as crocodile stew. Very tasty indeed.
Well worth a few hours, highly recommended.

Tour to this place is really appreciable. Different shades of African culture and the local tribes following the culture with pure and tend to keep that alive for years loner is really appreciated. importance of every culture in their daily life and the history made us stupefy that we spent hours hearing it. really a nice experience.

we stayed in one of the deluxe rooms which was an experience in itself. An enormous room with comfortable beds and a large fully equipped bathroom and outside shower which would be great in the summer. We opted for the full cultural show including a video, walk through the various villages and getting an understanding of their cultures followed by dinner and traditional dances. The staff were friendly and attentive and there was some shopping opportunities as well. I encourage all to make time to visit this gem

An excellent 2 hour introduction to the main tribes in South Africa, with a very articulate host & hostess who accompany us on a walk through different village types - including nuggets of knowledge on their language, food, cooking and home styles. Very informative, and explained nicely. The tribal dance show at the end could last from 30-40 min, and we found it somewhat loud and draggy though some parts were impressive (a shorter performance could be considered by the operators). Toilets on site are clean, there's a small snack food store, and curio outlets on site. Overall, a very good way to start a tour of South Africa.

We visited the village in the morning and stayed for lunch. Learning about five tribes of the area was fascinating. Each tribe has a small "village" set up to show their architecture and some of their traditions. This visit was very enjoyable and we were pleasantly surprised with the warm, friendly treatment we had. We felt a true happiness and pride of the staff involved. The energetic singing and dancing program was a highlight for us. The lunch was delicious with tribal foods and European style foods. Everyone can find something to delight their senses.
