Stayed here in early August for a week.
From arrival to having to leave everything was perfect.
All the staff are fantastic and are a credit to the company.
Nothing was too much trouble... they helped arrange flowers in the room for my wife on arrival, restaurant bookings, transfers for tours, restaurant recommendations. transport to Pacific resort when required. They couldn't be more helpful.
We stayed in Villa 2.
It took our breath away on arrival, the villa, the view, the beach, just all amazing.
I must mention the shower.. It is a monsoon style shower head but there is so much water pressure, it was like a monsoon power shower, and plenty of hot water too, fantastic.
The villa was very clean and well equipped. A washing machine and tumble dryer are provided in one of the courtyard rooms.
If you are taking children I would recommend taking a handful of DVD's for if there is a rainy day.

Room Tip: All look great, We stayed in villa 2

Our sea front villa was spacious and well appointed. Perfect for our 7 night stay.
Such beautiful views over the lagoon to the reef.
We were impressed by the helpful, friendly staff and the beautiful grounds.
Transport was so easy either by bus or transfer to the Pacific Resort.
We loved being in such a quiet and tranquil setting with the only sound the waves on the reef!

7 days of luxurious rest and relaxation in what we assess as close to perfection as we have ever experienced. Our villa was modern, spacious, clean, and fitted with every appliance and facility that allowed us complete freedom to action, when we desired, privacy and independence.
This combined with attentive service from each and every staff member, when required, was simply bliss.
The mood lighting added to the brilliant vista on our door step. The sandy Muri beach and lagoon were literally 40 steps away. Add in the plunge pool on the tiled deck and the lagoon and you have little or no reason to leave the property.
We did explore this piece of paradise, Rarotonga. The combined service of Te Manava and The Pacific Resort made our ventures away from the Villa so easy and seamless we experienced the privacy and peacefulness of our accommodation and the variety and resources of a large resort.
The view from our villa.
We are already planning our return

Our family just came back from our stay at Te Manava and we absolutely loved it. For some of our group this was our first trip to Raro and for others it was our 5th, so we have stayed at a few other places on the Island before. The service here was amazing and the staff truly went above and beyond to ensure that our stay here was enjoyable. We stayed in the 3 bedroom garden villa and it was spacious and very clean. The pool was great although we didn't use it much because we spent most of the time at the beach. The free use of kayaks and free snorkelling gear was really helpful. We also had a massage at the spa here, I have had a few massages at other places and this one truly topped them all! It was in a beautiful setting and the ladies had magical hands. The staff were always happy to transfer us to the Pacific resort down the road which has a beautiful menu and cocktails. A big Meitaki to Teina and Tutu for the fantastic service that we received during our stay!

We recently stayed at Te Manava as a couple in a beach front villa suite.
The villa was huge for 2 people, and we never felt cramped - even when we were stuck inside during a rain storm.
The bed was very comfortable, we loved the double shower, and having a kitchen to self-cater was great. We also liked having the option of using the washing machine when needed.
The private patio looking out over the ocean was a real highlight, with comfortable sun loungers, our own plunge pool, and direct beach access - not to mention falling asleep to the sound of the waves.

One of the best things about this accommodation was the sense of independence it gave us -
We could come and go as we pleased without having to deal with crowds or noise that you often find in the bigger resorts....
We could eat in, or choose not to......
We could make use of the amenities at the Pacific Resort....but didn't have to stay there to benefit from using them.
We had the use of kayaks and snorkelling equipment without having to bother booking ahead or the cost of renting them.
Central Muri was a short walk away via the beach or the road - we were close enough to the action to enjoy it, but far enough away to have peace and quiet.

The staff were lovely and made it clear that if there was anything they could do to make our stay more enjoyable, they would be there to help.
We were also pleasantly surprised to find a bottle of wine and a gorgeous flower arrangement in our room when we checked in.

We would definitely return to Te Manava if we are fortunate enough to visit the Cook Islands again.

Room Tip: The beach front villa suite was quiet, private, and very roomy!
