The fort is a portugese relic now used for a lot of movie shoots. A good quick stop destination to get a great view of the sea and see the lighthouse. Interesting historical facts of the fort are worth having a read through.

Closes around 530 so cant see the sunset. But good to visit a little early ad it gets very sunny.

Enjoy the view, click a few pics and read thr history... Quick 30 min trip is succinct

Its a nice view up to the fort and from the fort. The view is amazing from the fort.
You can also visit nearby light house.

The fort also had a light house and history of why the fort was built, the underground water tank, etc.

Please carry bottle of water, sun screen, something to eat, selfie stick, a good camera.

This fort is beautiful. You have to walk a bit and climb stairs. But it is quite easy; I could climb easily in heels. The fort area is huge. They have a lighthouse and an ancient jail. The fort overlooks the sea; really worth a visit!

The Fort has nothing in it, literally!!! But the Scenic view of the sea adjoining and the Light tower is only the thing you will enjoy. The fort was initially built for the Water irrigation purpose, but now is just flooded with tourist. But you can remember the funniest song shot on this fort i.e Chu Cha Chu from Sing is Bling.

The fort by itself is walls and moat and a lighthouse, so do not go looking for much history here, unlike Gwalior and Devagiri forts. The view around is extraordinary and should not be missed. There is no entry ticket, and ample parking space around. however, it is open between 0830 to 1730 hrs only.
