I don't know why this hotel exists at the first place. Its location is alright, it has decent plot area if compared to other hotels of mukteshwar. But, this where all good things related to it end.
Visited recently with family including kids and returned pretty unsatisfied.
This hotel has ill-maintained rooms, kitchen, dining area, etc. You will find rusted sanitary ware, rotten furniture, cold food, etc. all at one place. If you haven't heard before, Google about Silverfish, this insect/bug is one of the pets of this hotel. Be it your carpet, bedding, or even behind your pillows, you'll find them everywhere.
This hotel will also teach you the concept of variation. You'll find a room with decent interiors, not-so-old furniture, led tv with set top box on one hand, while a room having moist smell with rotting furniture and crt TV without cable on the other.
The owners don't believe in mechanism of lock and key. Locks don't work as smoothly as they should and it will be a task to lock any room's gate. Locks of most of the rooms don't work, so don't even bother.
The hotel has roof access for the guests which was one of the few positive points along with balcony of room situated on 1st floor. Although, don't expect any views if you have got a ground floor room.
Will certainly visit Mukteshwar again but definitely will not choose this hotel.
Gave 3 stars due to its price otherwise 2 wound have been enough.

Traveled with family on 25th June 2016. Was promised Deluxe room and asked to pay for the room earlier only. From outside the hotels looks good, but the room was very bad. At night i killed 2-3 silverfish as they were moving over my face. Could not sleep that night. Bathroom was dirty, water was retained in bathroom and pot was dirty. Bedsheet was not clean same with blanket provided. TV was CRT one with very bad screen display. Food menu had lot of items but only items available was which was asked by majority of the people like Dal, as only 1 dal was aked by many people no other dal was made all had to eat same dal makhni, same with vegetables. Morning tea was pathetic . There were other rooms also which lloked good than deluxe room, but saying a Deluxe Room means something. My advice do not pay in advance, choose the room after seeing it and then pay. Also negotiate it well before paying. Other hotels in nearby was offering same deluxe room with better quality and less price than this. Stayed for 1 day but will never try again.

Room tip: Go there and choose a room , some room looked good and had good view

The place is not exactly located in Mukteshawar but is aa little away from it in Satkhol. Once can stay here for day or two but not beyond that. The view is pretty good from all the rooms but and the service is also good but the problem with this place is that the linen provided was not clean and the bathroom pot was dirty, which was a major downside for me. The food served was nice and moderately priced.

Room tip: Go for rooms on the Higher floors!

This used to be one of the good hotels in every respect - quality of food, service, etc. till earlier this year. But on my this recent visit, this hotel made me disappointed. The food was tasteless. The tea was also not good. We requested that we need hot water for bath early in the morning. We were assured that there will not be any problem of hot water. But in the morning, there was no hot water.

Only positive quality of the hotel is that the its staff are well mannered, rest nothing remains good now.

In the heart of himalayas, when you want peace and nature, this is the best place to stay. This is very well maintained property, in the middle of the jungle. Morning sunrise view makes this place a paradise. Along with that, when you are pampered in the manner in which you want, this is the best place to stay in. Staff is very well behaved. They cook good food. Hot water for bathing is provided even early in the morning. Everything you demand, its at your service and provided by the staff.

I would always recommend this hotel to stay in if you happen to go around Nainital and dont want to stay in the cluster of crowd in the crowded city. Greenery, peace, nature and this Hotel, amazing combination... Must visit...
