I got delayed by few months in writing this review. Going to Pelling was never at a first choice since we originally planned to go for Kalimpong. Due to certain last moment changes we went to explore West Sikkim. The Golden Hotels group are one of the premium brands when it comes to hospitality in the hills. i have stayed in their another property in Darjeeling, that experience was mind blowing. Let's come back to Hotel Golden Sunrise & Spa in Lower Pelling, location wise this is placed on the side of the hill, so the view is not obstructed by any other hotel. A special mention for the Hotel Manager "Subhrajit Guha", he is one gem of a person who knows how to take care of guests. Throughout our stay, he had been very proactive to make this stay memorable. A big thumbs up for this person himself !! Room was spacious and the linens were of best quality. other amenities provided with the room were also of very good quality. Housekeeping staffs are equally good and very prompt. A disclaimer, this is a pure veg hotel so if you are looking for non-veg delicacies, you will have to go up for local popular restaurants. We did not go any of them hence not mentioning here, TA forums have separate blogs about them. Overall, it was an excellent stay at another Golden Hotels property & their hospitality is really worth mentioning.More
