In Ranakpur, if you get dropped by the bus from Udaipur, you are near the Jain Temple and there is NOTHING around, just one tea shop. And no rickshaw to bring you to a hotel. Seems like you have a car with driver or you don't exist.
So we went in this hotel with my wife, the room was ok, big enough, not very clean bathroom but fair enough, and we knew it was convenient to go to Jodhpur next day.
First price for a room, 842Rs, with no bargain possible because it is a government hotel.
Seems really overpriced for a simple room with no TV in the middle of nowhere, but you don't have much of a choice there and they seem to know it, so you just take the room.
We tried the food at their "veg restaurant", it was awful. Paying 90Rs for a veg fried rice that was sticky and with no taste, 120Rs for Shahi Paneer that was red (first time i taste a shahi paneer that taste like masala, very chilly and no taste at all), and 50Rs for a steam rice that was overcooked and sticky, that was too much! And 27Rs a bottle of 1l of water, where do you think you are? I asked them if they felt they were a palace, no reaction.
Overall, i don't advise this hotel and restaurant UNLESS you don't have a choice and don't want to take the 5.30pm bus to Jodhpur.
Other advise: start by Kumbhalgarh and go to Ranakpur in the afternoon to reach Jodhpur by night, it's the best way to do it because it is so hard to do it the other way around.
