Being a dentist working under PPE for so many months i felt a desperate need for a holiday . Even my family wanted the same . But a holiday during covid times required some planning . Though infection seems to have peaked in delhi its not the same for the neighbouring states . And many require you to get quarintined . Rajasthan seemed the best bet because of low infection rates and no need for any isolation .
Wanted to avoid conventional places and tightly packed properties where distancing is a problem . so i chose Matsya vilas
grand property with big vilas adequately seperated by lawns and even lesser people.(compared to delhi where social distancing seems to have gone for a toss )

we ( 20 friends), have visited the Matsya Vilas 26 to 28 July 2020,. Its a lovely resort in the lap of nature in Mandawa...We were warmly greeted like royals and received a musical entrance ( with Dhol- Nagadas)...
That was one of the best time ever we ever had, staff was super friendly, eager to help no matter what the situation is. we had a lovely dinner accompanied by Live Music makes the stay at Matsya Vilas a Lifetime Experience
Rooms are very spacious with traditional fittings & modern amenities..Huge green lawn...

We spent a total of 3 days at Matsya vilas.
Our group is Around 19 people we all are belong from tourism industry. This is very Lovely hotel,
They welcome our group with local indian music (Dhol Nagara) From the moment we arrived we were greeted by Peer who treated us so well. The food was great and a good buffet selection, weather will be very lovely sometimes rain came and it’s sky looks very cloudy and we get see peacock dance in Lawn. The pool is clean . we enjoyed swim. Our suite was spacious, clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We would highly recommend this hotel for our Inbound guests from all over the world . if you looking for space and an enjoyable place to relax for a few days in Mandawa.

Excellent resort property with excellent services. I highly recommend to visit with your family or friends or solo, you will surely enjoy the stay. We recently got chance to stay in monsoon it was nice stay with nice weather and excellent hospitality.
matsya villas is very nicely build, large lobby and restaurant, beautiful lawns, nice spa and swimming pool, large rooms, good for social events of small gatherings like 100 /150 people and good for FITs. Mandawa Havelis are just within 2 kms from here and this destination has no off season!
