A very quiet nice resort. We stayed here over the Easter long weekend (2012).

Location:
* North of Cairns about 25 mins drive
(it would cost you approx $20 via shuttle bus or $4.50 via local public bus, number 111 or 110.)
(Recommend taking 111 as this will drop you off very close to the hotel otherwise it will be a good 30 mins walk with 110)
* The closest shop is about 30 mins walk and the nearest restaurant outside of the resort is in Trinity beach so I highly recommend getting a rent a car! We would've but it was all out when we stayed.. so book in advance! I think the cheapest car started from around $49 per day, cheaper if you want to hire longer period.

Hotel
* Good size room and nice little private balcony...
* bathroom can use a better lighting... instead of bright bluish lights
* AMAZING restaurant... really good food.... but not cheap.... with a bottle of wine and 2 mains, we paid about $100... so not somewhere you can dine every single night.... (thus rent-a-car! so many restaurants if you drive down to Cairns city).
* Staffs were all very friendly... very helpful.

All in all, we were quite happy with the place.. disappointed that the water was a little brown (due to storm, perhaps?) but I would definitely get a rent a car next time.

Room Tip: Get a rent a car.

We had a week here and it was just perfect! They think of absolutely everything and plan everything for you. They even have umbrellas to use. Such lovely people and lovely food at the restaurant. It was very relaxing and you couldn't help but let your troubles go. This was our honeymoon and even though the first couple days were raining and we had our trips cancelled due to floods we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay the week. We will definitely be back to this absolutely perfect place. Don't have a bad word about kewarra beach resort. It was over expectations. Thank you so much to the team.

Room Tip: We had a bungalow just next to the pool and it was perfect. Very close to everything, the beach and restaurant and reception. It was quiet but I believe anywhere you stay would just be magical

We had 3 days of rain, and stayed in the facility most of the time. Could have been boring, but the staff, food and accommodations were superb. We had no car, and my wife needed some medical attention, so staff carried her there and back in their own cars. And our sunshine day made it even more beautiful.

We had always planned on eloping to a tiny tropical island and getting married on the beach. Looking around at various options we eventually decided on Kewarra Beach Resort due to its location and based on many glowing reviews. We took a gamble on Queensland in the rainy season and it really paid off. We were made to feel like the only guests there for our entire stay, nothing was ever too much trouble, and without exception all the staff were fantastic. The location, surroundings, food were all top class. I can't imagine anyone not being totally happy with a visit to this resort.

Room Tip: Go for the beach bungalows

This was the last stage of our dream holiday to New Zealand and Austrailia, many dreams fulfilled.Would Kewarra Beach live up to the pictures we had seen ? The answer was yes and even more .From the stunning location, the excellent staff, food to die for,the dreamy bungalows ,the pools and gardens from Eden.We can only hope heaven is as good as this .

Room Tip: To spoil yourselves even more choose a beach front bungalow
