The setting is an old wine cellar, well spaced tables yet cosy. The presentation of the meal was spectacular--simultaneous unveiling of all plates and each plate was perfectly oriented before the patron. Everything about the meal was excellent but the cheese trolley--a weakness of mine--exceeded all expectations. These weren't run-of-the-mill offerings but truly fine cheeses well explained by the host. While I can't rate the hotel since we were staying on a canal boat, I can assure you that the meal was worth all the hype I had heard about this restaurant. If you are anywhere near Accolay, you must go there.
