We had a great stay here. Service was excellent. Good place surrounded by nature. Food was best. Indoor games were well maintained. Swimming pool was clean. Had a good bonfire there. Room quality was wow. Property was well maintained and cleaned.

Few of us already planned to visit again the property with our family.

This is not a luxury hotel but if you like a back to nature rustic holiday this is a great option. Located in a large farm amidst a lush landscape, this resort has several room options including swiss cottages. Most of the rooms have balconies (dedicated or shared) that overlook the trees and the hills in the distance. We stayed in a family room on the first floor, which has a separate living area with a sofa cum bed and a large bedroom with a king-sized bed and an attached balcony. The room was located on the first floor so the balcony looked over the top of the trees to the hills. We spent hours just sitting here and enjoying the peace and quiet. The room is not luxurious but comfortable enough. The rooms and the furniture have been newly renovated so all in all it was quite comfortable.
All members of the staff were uniformly friendly and helpful though service can be quite slow. The hotel had taken care to do adequate sanitization of the rooms which is an imperative in the current circumstances. The extensive grounds allow for spending time amidst nature with quite a few exotic birds flocking the trees.
A few negatives though need to be pointed out:
1. The food in the restaurant had fixed timings and the timings for breakfast and dinner were quite inconvenient. Breakfast buffet started only at 9am, which is very late by any standard (though they did serve bread and eggs prior to that). Most guests came from Pune or Mumbai which take at least 4-5 hours to reach, so starting early is imperative if you are to reach back before lunch. Even if you want to go sightseeing 9 am breakfast is too late. I saw several guests leave before the breakfast service began. Even the 9 pm dinner was too late, we are early diners, and we found this is big inconvenience. We ended eating out most of the days and this is a missed opportunity for the resort.
2. The food menu itself is very small. Though the food is homely and tasty, the owners might want to consider going beyond just 3/4 realistic options currently available, mostly thalis.
3. I would suggest that the owners set up a tipping system to benefit all staff. Since there was no tipping system at the reception we handed over the tip to one of the staff members with instruction that this is for the common pool. Later when we spoke to the other staff that we had provided to tip towards all staff members, they complained that the tip never gets shared. This is something that the owners certainly need to take care of.
4. While adequate sanitization measures were being undertaken, most staff members were either without a mask or were wearing it on their chin, which defeated the purpose. Especially in spaces like the restaurant it is imperative that the staff follow stricter measures in times like this.
5. They played loud music in the open space for 3-4 hours in the evening (perhaps because we visited just prior to the new year). But since the resort is entirely open, this was quite disturbing for us who were looking for peace and quiet. Hopefully this is not a normal ongoing event.

We stayed here for 5 nights and given that we were looking for R&R, we did enjoy our stay. Taking up on some of the above suggestions would only make guest stays even better. I would give the resort a 3.5 rating if that option was available. Since not I am giving it a 4.

Room tip: If you are going for the family rooms, choose ones on the higher floors. The one on the ground floor are a bit dingy.
