The horses were very poor condition, needed a good wash, brush and feed. The whole property was nothing like on the brochure it was a real let down. Don't waste your money.

Placed in a group with three 8-yearolds and their mother... two of the 8-yearolds and the mother were beginners and one had ridden a couple of times before. I've not ridden more than 10 times before and i felt that it was boring after 10 minutes as the only thing we did was sitting on the horses while they were walking after the horse in front of them. After 1h of this we tried trotting but neither the mom nor the girls had any control at all so the trotting attempts were over in maximum 10 seconds... Instead of splitting the group into two we went back to walking for another half hour before we were done. Complete waste of money. I reckon the driver that picked us up and drove us back to the hostel made the 20 min bus ride more fun than the 1.5h horseride. Can't even imagine how boring it was for my girlfriend who's been riding alot before this...

Blazing saddles is a wonderful place to visit We took our 8yr old daughter who has limited horse riding experience. Her horse Matilda was amazing & our guide Alliyah was wonderful- very patient with great local knowledge. Tim our bus driver was also great- we were running a little late and he was very understanding. I would definitely recommend Blazing Saddles.

My sister and I decided to leave the little ones with our husbands and head off o do some horse riding. We arrived and were treated by lovely office staff plus a great character who drove the bus and did all the transfers. The first thing I noticed was just how friendly everyone was. They would come and sit next to you and have a chat! We had a young 20 year old guy take us out and we loved talking to him about his experience and life with horses as we have grown up with them and one of us was an advanced riders (we did just go on a relaxing ride though)! It was as described, pleasant and relaxing. He told us about the local wildlife and even got us up close to what I think he said was a baby rainbow lorikett?
We decided after the ride (considering we were child free) that we would do the ATVs as well. They said this was fine and they showed us whip cracking while they were getting prepared! Turns out we were the last group to go through on the horses and that was supposed to be it for the day but the same young guy took us out anyway so we were very grateful, especially for how much fun we had!
We had an absolute ball, got filthy dirty (which we felt was truly part of the experience) & we would recommend to everyone we know!

This was a great place to visit and is certainly worth doing. Positives: door-to-door hotel pickup and drop off; great quad bike tracks; great basic horse riding; helpful and friendly staff. Negatives: expensive; no showers; no personal lockers (just a group one); limited on food choices - mainly vending machine. Overall, it’s worth doing - yet, they fail to achieve good value for money.
