We selected Low Urpeth Farm because of its good reviews and proximity to The Beamish Museum. We were certainly not disappointed. Our room was lovely with good shower facilities. Hilary and Peter were wonderful hosts - very warm and welcoming. Their great local dining-out tips were very helpful and breakfast the next morning in the dining room was out of this world! Together with our fellow guests, we all sat around the enormous, beautifully laid table in the dining room and enjoyed the most sumptuous breakfast. Many thanks for making our stay so memorable.

Very friendly owners, comfortable, clean rooms, absolutely first class breakfast with home-made bread and local produce, free wi-fi connection. Location close to Beamish, Durham, Newcastle etc. yet quiet and relaxing. Highly recommended

Great hotel, really friendly service and fantastic breakfasts! Being part of a working farm gives the place real character and the rooms have everything you need with very comfy beds. Would definitely go back.

Stayed here on business for one night. Room was very comfortable and clean. Truly a peaceful night. Evening meal in a restaurant nearby was also very good.
Breakfast in the morning was excellent.

We stayed 4 nights at Low Urpeth farm. The room was comfortable with a very good shower. The free wifi (with good reception) was a bonus. The breakfast was very good (including fresh fruit salad) and the owners very helpful.
Low Urpeth farm is the perfect location if you want to visit Beamish. And we discovered different other very nice places to see nearby.
Excellent value for money. Thank you for this lovely stay !
